For most boys, it'll be with their obvious reasons, but I wonder what will be the reason for girls?
Is it because of the sheer coolness of mechas? Or because of the mechas these days have good details(even some are actually quite simple)? :D

Imho, Mecha was, is and will be the best Anime Genre in this industry.
I have watched all Gundams too, but it's not like that i like to watch Mecha anime with "Yaoi look alike Bishounen" characters :\
I personally enjoy to study and learn more about Mecha models. Also Comparing them to each other.
Of course Anime Plot is important too, I mean I don't watch Mecha only for seeing "Robots" 'w'
