So yeah, I know I shouldn't spend more money this month, but I just can't let this slip away from me since I saw it.
I bought this pvc on ebay. Yes, it usually costs around $150 for this NIB Alter Saber. but I actually got it for only $80 (had to pay $25 for shipping tho).
And yes I do checked it whether it's legit or bootleg, but it looks pretty legit to me (please don't tell me I got the bootleg one ;_; )

My Xan came in with $120 price, but the owner, in the middle of my boreness, sent me a message, saying a personal bargain for me just for $40!

My last steal of a deal? It might've been the Kotobukiya Iron Man statue that was 60% off or more. I jumped on that so quick my credit card didn't know what hit it!

Congratulations on getting her! She is indeed awesome. I never knew Saber Maid would cost this much - I am still considering whether not to sell her for extra cash.
There are currently no known bootlegs of that particular figure, so don't worry about it being bootleg or not.
Nice figure. But i'm not particularly a fan of Saber. Actually, I thought Fate/Stay Night was a terrible anime. :P
I think the anime is okay, but it can't even be compared with the VN. the VN is way better than the anime imo

Oh nice figure ^^ I always think to myself if this kind of deal is really considered a deal, like a little off the price but the shipping and handling kinda bumps it up to the original price. Regardless, I hope you do a detailed article on it :]
I got my Alter Motoko Kusanagi at otakon '08 for $60, i've never seen it listed for cheaper than $125 anywhere else.
$125 ? holy.. lucky I got mine at this year's AnimExpo for only $40. It also comes with free Laughing Man brand cookies :p
I bought an Excellent Model BLEACH Series Yoruichi Shihouin PVC/figurine for $109.99 (plus $27 for shipping, packing and handling). And since it is Megahouse, I am expecting it to be top quality. Plus, also, the store states that while the figure is 100% new, the box looks 95% new.
However, I am hoping that their prices are based on supply and demand... and not figure quality. Because they have two others listed for $169.99 (packing 90% new) and $119.99 (packing 95% new). So I have to wait and see because it is still pending customs inspection. (-_-;;
Ahh, nice figure. I never paid any attention to bleach figs before I've never seen any decent one before. But yeah, I think sellers should put the price tag based on supply and demand, not the box/figure quality, except the box is damaged pretty badly..
Don't feel bad, those splurges creep up on us! Instead of food, just look at your figure whenever you get hungry XD

if u have a chance to go Japan, go to Akihabara or Nakano Broadway to do some figure hunting! there will be plenty of steal deals to find ^^

Every time I see that Saber Maid figure, I'm starting to want it. I had no idea it was so expensive. Is it that rare? I think I got a deal on a Figma Kagami Hiragi winter uniform for $20 and $10 shipping off eBay. I've seen her listed at 40 and up at stores if I can find her. She is pretty rare. I guess she's one of the most popular of the Lucky Star cast.
yea, the saber maid is pretty rare since it's been released way back in 2007, I believe. I dont know about the opened one, but the unopened one usually costs around $120-150 in ebay, excluding shipping.
Sweet. I haven't had any good deals lately; but then again my wallet is so empty I couldn't even afford one atm T-T
