Vintage PVC Figures For Charity Auction

It’s been 15 days since one of the worst natural disasters ever to hit Japan, resulting in billions of dollars in damage, many people still dislocated from their home, lacking food and medical supplies. The major media outlets have slowed down their coverage on it, while there are still ample of twitter users bringing note worthy changes in the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant situation; but for the most part, much fewer people are actively talking about it, especially for those who are not currently in Japan. Now, I am not always a sentimental person and I always believe action is always louder than words, so I have been thinking about ways for me to contribute to the relief effort for people who are impacted by this disasters besides the donation I have made earlier this month to Red Cross.

As a figure collectors, I have collected many figures over the years; however, some of them, for a lack of better words, no longer fit into my current collection. I was getting ready to throw them away, but in light of the recent disaster happened in Japan, I thought perhaps I could put them up as a charity auction where all proceeds will be donated to Red Cross disaster relief efforts to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami.

The following list of figures are being considered for this round of charity auction.

Bible Black – Saeki Kaori 1/6 (C-Works)
Fate/Hollow Ataraxia – Tohsaka Rin 1/6 (Clayz)
Koihime†Musou – Kan’u Unchou (Aisha) (Giga Pulse)
To Heart 2 – Kousaka Tamaki 1/6 Swimsuit (Wave)

While admittedly, these aren’t exactly extreme high quality figures, they are in “used” condition, no box and to be sold as they are. So, what I am doing here is to gauge the interest level of these figures, if there is a demand for them then I will proceed to put them up for auction. I don’t expect to sell these for very high price but since it is for charity, the more the better :) I will also put this into figure.fm. If this round of charity auction turn out be a success, I will definitely consider doing this again~
