Amiami won't take my orders?

Amiami won't take my orders?

So I've been trying to order a couple of exclusive figurines and some merch from Amiami, and having them shipped to a forwarding service that allows a few more shipping options than most shops, I tried ordering twice now, giving in the address in Japan.
First time, I got an email the next day saying I'm apparently subject to a trading halt, and the second time it said that dealing with me let them down, and both times it's been cancelled.
I tried ordering once with them back in 2009, got the same email as the second time now.

I've never ordered anything with them, so why on earth won't they just let me order my stuff? I've read good things about Amiami, but so far this has turned out to be a bit of a disappointment...

    maybe they don't have any problems with you but with your forwarder and when they see it's shipping address they cancel the order

    What is wrong with amiami's default shipping options? They offer a lot of services already.

    As far as order canceling, they may have a policy that they will not deal with forwarding services. or having the payment coming from overseas but being shipped locally (technically) could be raising red flags, and look like a scam to them.

    Your best option is to email them, they have a very nice English customer service representative, and they get back with you quickly. e_support@amiami.com i believe is the address.

      I agree with Ridley. AmiAmi's shipping options are quite varied already - I personally go with Registered SAL purely for the signature confirmation and insurance. Then again, I don't really want to force my opinion on you.

      I can also vouch for AmiAmi's customer service, they're really friendly! As long as you're mature about it, you should get a quick response that explains the situation.

        I agree here and also have a little bit more to add.
        I actually have a friend in japan and have a few times ordered stuff through amiami to his adress, they declined i think its because its a japanese adress and i ordered through the ENGLISH amiami site.
        When i order throught the Japanese site to his adress (Wont allow overseas orders on JP site) it works fine and some figures/50% off offers can only be ordered through the japanese site to japanese adresses.

        I reckon they have that forwarding service adress logged so they know they will forward it overseas or your ordering via the English version of the site.

        Anyway there shipping service is brilliant to overseas and more options than other stores so unless its a JP site only figure then i would just use there shipping options.

    Maybe it has to do with the forwarding thing? Cancelling the order on their end because overseas adress and JP shipping don't match?

    Personally I've ordered a couple of times there, no problems. I think their SAL registerd is *da bomb* as it's actually faster than Hobbysearch's EMS ^^;

    maybe they already received the maximum numbers of that exclusive items each address is allowed to order by other customers to the same forwarding service's address.
