Infinite Stratos Ends

IS ended at episode 12, but i wished there will be a season 2. Why Laura's banned technology in her IS a few episodes back is used is not yet explained, and the first unmanned drone's attack is also unexplained. But, i do kinda like the ending, but wished it could be better. After Ichika got 110% luck to be naked with Laura he did not even get to kiss Houki. >.< What do you think of the series, especially the ending so far?
BTW, here's more comparisons to Gundam, after my previous post. Well, particularly the first pic below, an attempt at humor actually. =P
Whilst Ichika ending up Houki was a given due to how cliched the story was turning out in terms of romance, I still can't shake my disappointment at him not ending up with Charlotte. Charlotte showed that she had some real chemistry with Ichika.
The sudden development with Houki felt a bit forced. I wouldn't have minded if there was a better build up in previous episodes.
Agreed. Char was my favourite and I'm hoping that some company makes an awesome figurine of her.

I'm hoping for a season 2. Somewhere I always kept routing for Houki. Poor childhood friend suddenly needs to fight 4 others for his affection. Season 2 would be nice so they could explore, like you said in the original post, the forbidden technology from Laura's IS and I doubt that this Gospel was the only one out there :P
And ofc, season 2 would rock because Ichika will now need to try his hardest to stay alive because the other girls aren't very happy with his decision about going with Houki XD
It was a nice, entertaining series. Sure it had plot holes and such but it was still a nice harem comedy. ^^
I'd give it a 6.5/10. The series ended nicely. But, for a 2nd season... I'm not seeing it. It has too many unanswered questions, character building is somewhat nowhere and its a total cliche of stuff happening makes it unworthy for a 2nd season for me. Cecilia and Rin are a great combo for lol-times. Charlotte(AKA reverse Hideyoshi) should be wearing Pants!! Laura can has fun with the black rabbit squad. Houki and Ichika is a big question mark...

I was hoping he was gay, but hey, Tenchi-Muyo-style end'd be better anyway. Second season must as long as Houki doesn't win.
