UNM Maid Cafe April 2011 (Lot's of photos)

Yesterday was the inaugural UNM Maid Cafe. It was a simple event, filled with dreams and 6 Maids for about 30 people. The events had some dancing, games and serving tea and cookies. (no food due to UNM's building policies) There were 2 rooms, gaming and karaoke, and the main room had the Maids and anime.

This has a long story that can be summed up as, 2 years it was going nowhere, then a new Head Maid took over, 4 months later we got this together. Things went to last hour, still more needed to be done, but it was showtime!

I think this is really like the first time anywhere in New Mexico, that there was a event of this sort outside of a Anime Con. to this degree. It was a truly a important event here.
