Wondercon 2011
First official post!
So this weekend was wondercon!
I've been going for the past 3 years, this being my 3rd.
Wondercon is mostly focused on american comics, DC/Marvel/IDW/Image/BOOM..etc,
very small in the anime/manga department.
Now I've always been a fan of comics, whether manga or american or whatever, I love sequential art!
So I met and bought sketches from many artists, some more famous, others not so famous.
It was pleasure to meet each an everyone of them. Afterwards I went to SketchBomb where I meet many artists,and discuss a lot about artwork and the artist's we love. It was a very inspirational for me to continue in medium that i love! Expect to see some of my work soon!
Many many american books!, really couldn't find any mangas that I liked, and many places didn't have any figurines that I wanted! So no toys this eyar which a Hugh surprise for me!
These are sketches that was able to get form many talented artists!
quick note of this one, Adam hughes is one of the best artists I ever seen, normally its impossible to get a sketch without paying big bucks. But on the Saturday the first hour he was given head sketches for anyone donating 5 or more dollars to his relief jar which would go to japan relief effort. What a Great Guy!
