Photography Club!
Recently, my daughters have been taking pictures around the house with the new cameras I got them from Books A Million. Since all the girls were taking pics, they decided to make a Photography Club for after school activities.
When I got home today, all of them were dressed in their school uniforms and working on their pictures.
Well now, it looks like we have quite the little meeting going on. Let's see what the girls are up to.
Miyuki and Yoko are looking nice in their uniforms. Normally, Manami wears the Ryomou uniform but today Yoko wanted to see how it fit.
Hello Mai, how are you?
"Oh hi Papa. I'm just fine. I'm waiting for my turn to print out pictures from my camera."
Ah I see. You're looking sweet in your twintails and sailor fuku!
"Thanks Papa! I think the twintails make me look a little younger."
"Hey Papa! Welcome home!"

"I know, right? I love this uniform!"

"I'm good Papa! I'm working on my scrapbook today. I already have some pics I want to put in it!"
That's good Yoko! You'll have to let me see which ones you chose in a minute.
Rei and Manami look pretty busy. Wait, who could Manami be texting?
"Hi Papa! How was work today?"
It was decent I suppose.... Who are you texting?
"Oh, it's just Mari from California. She says hello."
Oh okay. Please tell her I said hi.
Hello Rei. You look busy...
"I am busy Papa. I have all these photos to print out and we are going to run low on ink if it keeps up."
We have extra cartridges in the computer room don't we?
"Already used those today."
Already? Sheesh!
Let's see what Mai has picked out to save....
Oh nice choices Mai. I like those.
"Thanks Papa. As soon as Rei finishes printing Miyukis pics, the ones I took will be next!"
"Papa! I am putting this one in the scrapbook! Do you like it?"
Oh yes Yoko! I remember that photoshoot! You girls were so lovely in your sukumizus! It was really nice what you did for Rei then.
"Yeah, we are good sisters!"
Now what is that a picture of?
"You don't remember? It was my application on Momma's iPod! Remember if you shook it, iYoko's boobies would bounce around! It was so cute!"
Oh yes, that's right. That was a cool app.
So Manami, what pictures did you get printed up?
"I got all the GOOD pictures! These all have ME in them so they are AWESOME! Haaaahaaahaaa!"
Well, you sure picked some good ones!
"ALL my pictures are good ones Papa! I'm gorgeous!"
How are you liking your camera Miyuki?
"I like it a lot! It's fun to take pictures! But I want to go outside and take some pictures soon! Can we do that sometime Papa?"
I will try and let you do that soon dear. As soon as the weather stabilizes, we can go do that.... ok?
"Ok! Thanks Papa!"
Rei's been busy printing pictures out. But it looks like she's online right now while waiting for files to print...
So Rei, did you print any pictures for yourself yet?
"No I have not done so yet. Everyone else has been hogging up the printer and since *I* am the only one capable enuff to make prints, it is taking a while to do so."
"That's not true Rei! I saw you printing pictures out earlier for yourself! Hurry up and finish so I can have mine done!"
"YOU need to shut your mouth Mai. I will get to yours in just a few minutes as I told you earlier."
Miyuki - "Look! Mai is right! Rei *does* have pictures printed out for herself! Just look!"
Rei - "Nooooo! DO NOT grab those Miyuki!"
"Awww! She made this one! It's so cute! I really liked it when we snuggled up Rei!"
"Curses! No one was supposed to see those pictures! How can I keep my place in the family if you know I am weak?"
M - "Oh Rei, we all know you're a big softie inside. That's no secret. Why are you trying to hide the fact that you like being nice sometimes?"
R - "I'm not hiding anything. I just wanted you to see different pictures instead of that one."
Rei, Manami is right. You don't have to play tough all the time. We all love you for who you are, not who you pretend to be. And besides, what pictures would you have rather us seen?
"These two. They are my favorites because in one I am scaring the beejesus out of Yoko and in the other one I am smacking Manami right in the kisser."
M - "Hey! That's just mean Rei! And after I was trying to make you feel better too! Gimmie those pictures! I'm gonna rip'em up!"
R - "No way sister, these precious gems are all mine."
Manami - "I said GIMMIE!" TACKLE
Miyuki - "Yeah! Get her Manami! DOG PILE! Ha haaaaa!"
Yoko - "Mai, are you going to break them up?"
Mai - "Nnnnnope."

That's right! Rei has a hard time understanding how to split the two parts of her personality like that. But she's getting there!

Ha ha! You're so mean sometimes! XD But yes, she cleans up very nicely! So far, she had not gotten to try that outfit on as Yoko claimed it for herself. But she and Yoko agreed to switch it up this one time so they could see how the outfits were. I really like Manami in that dress, even when she is tackling Rei... =3
I'm not mean, I'm blunt! =P So apparently Manami cleans up well, but it's keeping her clean that's the hard part. *bricked*

And yes, Manami cleans up nicely but she also devolves into her regular old self rather fast. but that's why I love her.... she's nothing if not predictable!

Ha ha, you're warm with your guesses but I'm not saying a word due to me not wanting to jinx myself. You'll find out very soon if things go like I think they will. ^_^
LOL! XD Made me smile today. Especially how Manami LOOKED like she was going to be sweet to Rei. . . and then reverted to typical Manami brat mode, so much that even Mai won't go near them. Good thing Rei is made of stern stuff, since she's not going to get rescued!
I'm glad my girls can bring a smile to you! Manami *DID* mean well! She was actually trying to be nice and then Rei suckered her in with those pictures. What was she to do other than pounce? XD And I don't think Mai was worried about being injured by Manami or Rei's thrashing about. I think she let them continue tussling about for other, more yuri reasons.... ^_^
Yuri reasons? Heh, I would have thought it would be more like, "They're just going to get into it again, why bother?", but hey, whatever floats her boat. XD
Well, think about it. Mai is from the King of Fighters video game series where she kicks butt all day long. She is also VERY close to a few of the more yuri characters in the game too. Plus she is very mature and loves to mess around with Manami by picking on her about making out and such. So letting Rei and Manami tussle about was sort of a sexy thing to watch for her as well as an interesting way to see what holds they would use on each other for Mai to know how to best counter attack later. XD
I've never played KoF, so your Mai is pretty much the only iteration of her I'm familiar with. ^^; Still, when you explain it that way, it totally makes sense!
Ah ok! I didn't know you weren't familiar with KOF. But now you know! My Mai ( ha! ) isn't sticking just with her character from the game, she's a bit different. She is the most mature acting girl I have but she'll get down and rough house with Manami and crew plenty. She likes the female form and enjoys sharing hers with her sisters if she gets the chance. Usually, it's only Manami that accepts the advances tho... XD But it's all harmless. Nothing but the occasional heavy petting. That's about it.
Yeah, I think most character DDs evolve into something beyond the ones they're based on. Even Agatha's a bit different from her comic counterpart, coming off as a bit more tsundere. (In the comic, it's more that she's stressed out from all the crap she has to deal with and finds it more efficient to be snippy than accept any potentially distracting advances.)
"Likes the female form", huh? I'd suggest a life drawing class if it weren't for the fact that she'd be stuck drawing guys once in a while too. Her sisters probably aren't the greatest stand-in models either--especially Manami, that girl would be squirming and shifting too frequently for anything but two-minute gestures to be conducted without frustration.

Is it hard for you to find clothes for you DDys? Because, my friends just got her DDdy, and might be having trouble find clothes that fit. Plus, I'm thinking about getting a DDdy as my first DD. Still deciding though.

When I first got Manami, it was really hard to find clothes to fit the Dddy body. But after almost a year, they are a lot easier to find. Most Azone 60cm girl clothes will fit the DDdy. That outfit Mai is wearing is from Azone. The top is a little tight but not horrible. Of course, Volks makes clothing for them but they can be expensive. I have found that places like Nightfall, MimiWoo and Alices Collections all have clothing that fit the DDdy. A place here int he states that has them too is Mint On Card. Most of their clothing is the same as Azone and is priced similarly.
Don't be afraid of the DDdy body for finding clothes. There are plenty of places you can get them form now that they are more popular. I'm glad to hear you may be getting one as your first! They are lovely girls and I know you'll love them!

LOL I told the girls that unless that laptop breaks, we can't afford to upgrade. But it seems that Rei has already modified it to use wireless USB setups for the printer. Who knows what else she did to it....

I used to print all kinds of pictures the first time I got a color inkjet. I had the same problem of running out of ink all the time. Those are some cool gadgets your girls have there. Nice photo story, its like an after school club meeting.

Uh oh, Rei got caught showing feelings. It's ok Rei, leaders and protectors can have a soft side too. They just have the ability to override it when it's best for the group, and I'm sure you've got that down.
And poor Balldylox, as if DDs and their keeping weren't expensive enough as it is. Now you have to pay for texting plans for 5 girls and enough ink jet ink for all of them. I've seen several articles that point out that ink jet ink is actually more expensive than gold ounce for ounce.
Cool story. I don't know how you find the time for all the prep work for these things less yet actually photographing the stories themselves. Amazing.
Heh, Rei still needs to find out how to balance her softer and more stern sides better. She's getting there slowly but surely.
Texting plans aren't the bad part... I am lucky I only have the one cell phone right now. What drains my wallet is the ink cartridges and the paper! Do you have any idea how hard it is find paper THAT small?? ^_^ And yes, ink is like liquid gold these days.... NOT cheap.
Thank you sir! The thing that took th emost time was cutting out all the little pictures from the photopaper I printed it on. I had to use scissors so it took a while to get them all cutout. Other than that the rest of the stuff was easy to setup. Dressing all the girls in their uniforms took some time too but I did that the day before so I wouldn't get stuck doing it while trying to setup other stuff too. I'd say for prep work and actual photo taking time, this took about 2 hours to do.
Laptop and a wireless printer!!! Your girls sure are hi-tech. :D Love how Rei always has her little doll friend with her.

Rei has Bone-kun with her almost all the time. Ever since she got him, she has clung to him strongly. Her sisters keep saying he's creepy but she loves him dearly. Then she smacks whoever said that with Bone-kun, usually right over the head. =3

YOU try keeping 5 girls in a private school like White Rose! It's EXPENSIVE! That's why only Yoko goes there ( even tho Manami was wearing her clothes) and the others go to public schools.

Thank you very much Zakuro! I'm glad you like how the uniforms look on the girls. Normally Yoko and Manami have their uniforms swapped but this time they wanted to try out each others clothes just to see how they looked. I think it worked out ok. ^_^
The little photos are printed on photopaper. XD There was a settign in the computer for something called a "sticer sheet" that made them this size. All I had to do was print them and then cut them out. Cutting all those took some time tho.... my hands were all sorts of cramped up after all that! XD

Ha ha! I am so glad you think I am "amazing" but I am hardly so. I just try and find things that look good with my girls and do my best to show them in a realistic setting. It's nice to get feedback like yours tho.... that way I know if I am doing ok with my stories or not. So thank you for your input! =3

Yes, it is indeed Lanies. My good friend Zakuro got that for me from the AG store in The Mall of America. She really hooked me up on it too. She even sent extra screens to show online DD websites!

Hooray for Sailor Fuku! All of your girls look fantastic in their uniforms. If I had to pick a fav it would be Manami. She just looks so pretty in that uniform, plus the uniform itself is very beautiful.
I love how you put so many details into your picture stories. Like having the tiny pictures on the table and all the accessories. I bet that took some work to get all that set up. It did take some time for this shoot due to me having to cut out all those pics by hand. For everything including cutting the pics, setting up the table and its pieces and then taking pics, it prolly took around 2 hours. And prolly another 45 minutes on top of that to dress all the girls. Getting 5 daughters ready for pictures is NOT easy! XD
I'll have to look into finding that outfit. I think I remember seeing it listed recently on Yahoo Japan Auctions. I've been browsing through their stuff everyday trying to get the Dolpa 24 outfits I missed out on. I've been successful in getting the 2 I want. I'll probably end up adding that uniform to my order
along with maybe Beatrice's uniform. :D
Wow 45 minutes to get them ready. But I can believe it, I thought it was tough enough getting 3 girls ready. Like when I put Yuki in her default outfit I think that took almost an hour. x.X Those gloves that go on her arms were murder to get on.

I tried to get that school uniform when it was first released on the international site and I got denied HARD. So I tried again when Volks US had them available and I got lucky and bought one. I love this set as it's so mature looking as well as very refined. So even Manami looks like a prim and proper girl in it! XD
Yeah, it takes some time to get all 5 of them undressed and dressed again for a shoot. but it's fun doing it so I don't hink about it as using up time.
