Six-Legged Freak Pony
Well, a couple weeks ago I finished another polymer clay sculpture, a creature I created that I officially call the Hexungulate Nightmare, which is nerd speak for Six-Legged Freak Pony. XD
Done in polymer clay, with tinfoil, copper wire, and (I think) steel wire for the armature. Paint job is in acrylics.

Reminds me of Odin's horse X3
Haha, kinda! But unlike Sleipnir, this horse has six legs instead of eight. So I guess it's Odin's REJECT horse. =P
i thought this as well!
I love it =D that's amazing! I want one XD
Thank you! :) I still have supplies left over, but given the time this guy took me, a commissioned companion would probably be a few hundred bucks. ^^; I'm guessing you don't want one that badly! XD
Amazing! DO WANT XD
Thanks! Well, if you're willing to pony up a bunch for a OoaK piece, it is at least hypothetically possible for me to make a clone. ;)
Vestigial wings? Well done!
Honestly, even though I designed the thing, I don't know WHAT those are; I put them in just because they looked cool. XD Maybe they're to help buck off predators from behind. But thank you!
may i suggest a few strokes of blended dark stripes for the pony? it seems like a good idea, streamlined speed is in mind when i thought about it.
Hm, that could look pretty cool--I'll have to whip up some mockups in Photoshop before I get the original back from my teacher. I'd originally intended to put on some glow-in-the-dark markings, but after all the "Oh, like Avatar!" comments I got I decided against it.
glow in the dark markings is good. i'm thinking of applying with a glow in the dark material that matches the normal color. so that you can only notice the markings in the dark?
Oh, you mean a transparent glow in the dark paint? I'm not sure I'd do that on this guy, but I know I have plenty else that something like that would be great on, so I guess it's time to go paint hunting. . . I think I might take you up on the darker stripe idea though.
Interesting~
Heh, thanks.
Oh my! I really like it^o^
Thank you!
I like it, looks like something the Visitors would ride. The muzzle is especially good detailing and sculpt. :)
Thank you! :) The Visitors. . .Sounds familiar, but I can't quite dredge up what that's from. *lives under a rock*
It was a show, the re-make was pretty good

Hm, interesting! I might give it a shot, though I may have to wait until maybe September-ish so I'll have the second season of FiM as a mood antidote as needed. XD
