Recently I had acquired Neon Genesis Evangelion, End Of Evegalion, Evangelion 1.11 & 2.22, and I had just watched all of them in one sitting, and after completing this I felt the need to post this information somewhere. As much as some people already know(sarcasm) about certain "theories" that exist about the Rebuild of Evangelion. I find that it is not beyond the realm of possibility. When Shinji gains "absolute power" at the end of "End of Evangelion" he rejects Instrumentality for life instead. However I feel that it is possible that with the power he had acquired, he has somehow reset time to the point where it all started(neon genesis evangelion). It would also appear that Kaworu Nagisa is aware of this fact, as he makes statements about Shinji in the past tense despite not yet meeting him(according to the claims that it is a "remake"). Personally I feel that the storyline in 2.22 has split so far from the original that the "Rebuild of Evangelion" can not possibly be classified as a re-make, most signs point to sequel, but than again I may be wrong, tell me what you think?
