Mai is daydreaming....
Altho Mai is my youngest girl as far as adoption times go, she is by far the most mature. So she tends to quietly reflect on many things in her spare time.
Here is a glimpse of what goes on in her pretty little head....
"Ahh, I'm so glad Papa got these Dollfie Dream Compilation books for us. They show great pictures of so many girls I didn't even know existed. Like the MDD for instance.... such an adorable little body."
"I wonder what it would be like here if one of my sisters had an MDD body.... like a little sister? Maybe Miyuki since she is pretty childlike....."

R - "If you insist. Bone-kun wants to come see you anyway."
Y - "See? It wasn't hard to come out and see me. I still don't know why you like hiding all the time. You're too cute to be hiding that little face!"
R - "D...do you think so? R...really Onee-chan?"
Y - "Of course dear! Come give me a hug!"
Y - "Oh Rei-chan, you're so adorable! I just want to hug you all day!"
R - "That.....that would be acceptable."
"Yep, that would be Rei for sure. Silly girl."
"And speaking of silly girls, I bet Yoko was about the happiest little girl ever growing up! I bet she would be so much fun as an MDD!"

"Ugh, this wagon is HEAVY! Who's been eating all the cookies again?"

I love seeing chibi versions of your girls!!! They all look great but my favorites were Yoko and Mai.
Seeing Yoko with her wagon was great. She has such a happy personality it's like she was having too much fun playing with her dolls.
Manami was cute as a little kid but I like her grown up version more - she's more 'perky'. :P

Yay! I think she was very cute here. That pose took me like 10 minutes and lots of tries to get right. It was so hard to get her to pose like that and not move or fall over. But when I finally got it right, it was worth all the time and effort.
I understand why Manami has no manners if she was like that as a child O_O That's fun you could try that without having to buy the MDD body . I think it't pretty cute but I would not start another collection of clothing in a different size !!!Too expensive @_@ But this was pretty cool ,did you take a picture that could be use as an old picture of each of them ...when they were a child ? Just an idea -_O

Yes, trying out the MDD body was quite fun! I'm glad I got it on loan for a bit. It's not something I would buy tho as it isnt easy to pose. But it's still fun to see what I could do with it. So don't worry, no new clothes buying in my future for an MDD. XD
I didn't take any shots of them by themselves but that's a good idea! I'll have this body for like another week before Anne gets back so I will have time to do that. Thanks for the idea!

Thank you! I also love Rei-chan! Well, this chibi version is actually how *Mai* thinks her sisters were as kids, not how they actually were. Mai doesn't know that Rei is a clone and was "born" in a tank of lots of other clones. So Rei never was a kid. My Rei isn't really mean tho, she's just bossy and sometimes picky about how she thinks things should be. But in her previous life before she came to me, she was in NERV and who *wouldn't* be a little mean after everything they put her thru? =3 I'm just glad her memory got wiped before I got her. She was almost a clean slate when I adopted her. She has some moments of recollection from her previous life but not enuff to know what happened.
Ah, I forgot that this is Mai's day dream. I got caught up in all the cuteness :P

So you like the wagon Chun? I found that at a local Ace Hardware store for $15 USD. I was amazed it worked so well with the girls. It was so much fun loading up all the stuffed animals with MDD Yoko. She was too cute getting pulled around!
you'll laugh, I wanted not just a wagon, but also a shopping trolley for my girls, but currently no space so I have to sit on that :P (I saw those at local store called Toy Traders) XD

I got the body about 1:00pm on Sat. I was raking the front yard when it came in so I took that as a sign to take a break and eat lunch. After that I finished up outside, came in and cleaned up and got right to messing with the MDD. This photoshoot took about 2 hours to do since I had to find clothes that *kind* of fit the MDD. That and I had to think of how to present the story.
As for Sunday, I did 2 more photoshoots and you already saw a few pics of the one with Rei and the dress you sent her. The other one was a fun one to do.... it involves TWO "wolves" on the prowl in my house.... you'll see that story soon. XD
Eee, so cute! Where did you get the book? Did you just make a sleeve to go over a different mini-book? My Yuki Nagato has only had the one book to read for years!
The full scale DD Compilation book actuall has a cutout in the back of it so you can make your own 1/3 scale DD book for your girls! I didn't want to cut my book up tho so my good friend Zakuro made scans of the cover and some custom pages for it as well. All I had to do was glue it together along with some blank paper pages the same scale as the cover.

Good eyes! You got all the big named ones! The Soot Sprites from Totoro and Spirited Away are awesome. The big headed white thing is a Kodama from Princess Mononoke, another Ghibli film. The Carol monster was given to me by my Mom since she knows that "Where The Wild Things Are" id my favorite book ever. I still have my copy from when I was little. ^_^
