Parent Weekend
This weekend at my university is "parent weekend". It's a weekend where parents can come and see campus, participate in various events, and come see a football game. I guess it's targeted primarily at freshman and people who live far away from campus (both of which apply to me). So, my parents and grandparents and best friend all came down to visit, and my friend bought my daughter Mariko to visit again! It was so nice to see her!
"Hello again, everyone!"
My friend who brought Mariko made her a temporary, simple little sleeveless dress to wear so I wouldn't have to photograph her in her lingerie again. I put it on over her nightie so it looked like it had straps. Purple really suits her!
I always end up doing shots of Mariko in the worst light. The last time I uploaded, it was night time, and we only had the fluorescent lights in my dorm to go by, so a lot of the pictures turned out badly. It's night again in these, but you can't really see anything besides her. I'm hoping to take her out again for a real shoot in the daytime this weekend, but I don't know if the weather will allow it. Poor Mariko!
Not only is she having picture troubles, it seems like there an alien invasion coming as well! *UFO noises*
Mariko sat a lot, because the ground was wet, but the benches we sat her on could be dried off. I hate the rain!
After we finished our midnight stroll around campus, Mariko discovered dollfie-sized condiments! I wish I had a dollfie-sized burger I could give her to put some ketchup on.
What a cute badge! Mariko took a liking to it, and wore it for the rest of the night until she went to sleep.
