TGS - Tokyo Game Show? Tokyo Girls Show? :)
Phew, just came back from TGS! Comiket 76 prepared me for the crowd today.
This is my third time in Tokyo Game Show, been to 2004 and 2008. Still exciting as ever, though the lack of certain booths is disappointing (e.g. SNK). Today was a simple look-see day for me, whereas tomorrow will be queue-up-for-hours-and-play day.
You can read a whole lot of coverage on other sites, so I'll just show you some pictures on my side, including the booths, the games and the booth+cosplay babes ;) I'll try to cover as many as I can tomorrow as well. Enjoy!
GAMEは、元気です。Game, it's so energetic. That's the theme this year. The poster is really nice, but I swear it looks almost identical to the Coke ad.
Buntings of game characters that are gonna change your life very soon.
Ookami Den for the DS. The booth thematically looked great, gotta try the game tomorrow.
Watched a bunch of Capcom trailers. The one I'm looking forward to the most is Ghost Trick, written by the same genius who created Phoenix Wright. Since you're dead, you can control objects around you using your stylus to solve the mystery surrounding your death. Do yourself a favour and watch the vid!
The Konami booth. Saw Kojima here but it was hard to take pics :( Of course the big hoo-ha was his next Metal Gear Solid game, MGS Peace Walker for the PSP. Watch the super-duper 10-minute oh-my-god-deep-story epic trailer.
One of my fave game companies, Sega (sigh, come on, do a better Sonic game!). Valkyria Chronicles 2 for PSP, Phantasy Star Online 2 for PSP and Ryuu no Gotoku 4. That's fast, 3 was introduced in last year's TGS!
If this is what you get when you're a Yakuza, sign me up NAO!

Namco booth was huge too, with Tales of Vesperia bonus remake for the PS3 (which is riling up the 360 users at the moment) and Tales of Graces for the Wii.

MISTY!!! Love your pics, AND UGH YOU GOT TO GO >.< Seeing the pics on Kotaku, just seeing the merchandise they were selling was enough to make me want to cry!!! They had Professor Layton Plushies!!! Did you get anything from the merchants there? I bet you had so much fun!

Yea I saw the plushies but they were kinda expensive :S Saw the whole trailer to the new game and the movie as well. Can't wait to get my hands on it! Will cover more on Level 5 stuffs tomorrow.
That Miku Mask really gave me quite a shock .
That Kigurumi Group( Cosplayers wearing Anime Masks ) gave me The Jeebe Heebies .

Games that tickle my fancy in this post are Tales of Vesperia ( PS3) , Gran Turismo 5 ( which has been delayed for OVER 9000!! TIMES!!! ) and MGS: Peace Walker

Awww don't be so modest, your pics were great as well! They had more of the crowd interacting with the booths, like queuing up and all that. Hope to get capture those tomorrow.
