Ecchi Tsu Moe Terminator-chan

Posted by yunamon [www]

To think I need such an adorable pest control... ^^;

She may look like one, but she is no Nendoroid... Hoi Hoi san is a Plamo kit, you read me? A plastic model kit in which you'll have to cut down her parts and assemble her piece by piece yourself ala Gunpla... :3

A history lesson first... Hoi Hoi san hails from the manga Ichigeki Sacchu: Hoi Hoi san Legacy, in which the household pests of the future have become immune to all known pesticides. To counter the threat, miniature interception androids were created to combat the menace, keeping them in control...

Ecchi Tsu Moe Terminator-chan

This moe plamo is made from hard PS and ABS materials, with only a few polycaps here and there... Several parts have already been prepainted with accurate colours out from the box, thus no painting is actually required to construct this android... ^_^

Bug Terminator-chan features a modest amount of articulated points, which can be quite stiff due to the fractions between hard plastics... Should have use polycaps for the joints in my opinion... Various points of unification aren't secure as well, requiring the help of Super Glue to hold them tight... >,<

For a plamo kit, the amount of parts and runners are quite few for Hoi Hoi san (H2 aka Ecchi Tsu)... Assembly took only a few hours on and off these past two nights. Decided to add depth to her hair pieces by applying panel linings...

Tottemo Kawaii desu ne? ^_^

Notice her articulated hair band, which doubles up as speaker jack... XD I chose against painting the jack into its usual silver-ish colour, fearing the paint might chip off when insert into H2... :3

Also tried to replace the jack part with leftover sound card jack but its length is shorter than the plamo's! >,< Fission Mailed!

A pretty moderate range of articulations on various joints... Had to undo her skirt so one could see her kodomo pantsu---ahem---the range of movements around her legs... :P

Curiously, H2 comes with 3 different sets of eye panels, in which you can switch ala Nendoroid... XD

Dead ahead~!

Off the right~! Still with that poker face... ^^; Identical to her manga counterpart, H2 displays no emotion as she's a doll in nature, which creates quite a comedy... XD You've gotta read the manga. :D

H2 with her various accessories and spare parts... This moe plamo kit comes with a couple more of the eye panels, a katana, a handgun with a chamber of cartridge, a broom and for some reason another strand of her ahoge... Planning for future variations of H2?

Painting the broom alone took me 3 hours, therefore I gave up on painting the rest of her weapons... 0_0

Why would she need a broom? See the 10 minutes OVA for yourself! XD

If you're so set to acquire one of this moe Terminator-chan for yourself, don't be surprised to see black corpses piling up on your bed top when you're awaken from your nice futon jikan... X3

    Is the part fit good?
    Got this one on my pre-order list too.

    Don't really like the seam lines on the limbs.
    Looks like I'll stash it until I have time to make it.

      Fits like a charm, but some parts need Super Glue for security... >,<

      Except I don't have Fei Yen... ^^;

      The only non Gundam plamo kits I have are EVA-01 Type F and H2...

      H2 costs 3000 yen... A hundred and fifty less if you buy from HS...

    Her removing her face scared me! >.<

    Adding panel lines to give depth, huh....maybe you should have used a pink marker?

    Sweet. Hobbysearch is gonna re-stock her, so this review helped me decide whether to buy her or not, and my decision is not. Her skin looks too shiny for my tastes. And while assembling her from scratch would have been fun, I think a PVC version would be better with the no-shine finish.

      you could buy it and coat the parts with a matte finishing spray.

        Well depends on yourself... I'm just too lazy to paint her all over so she'll be shiny for now... XD

    Nyaaa! She's quite lovely! Interesting panel line addition on the hair. LoL the broom took you 3 hours, eh? XD

    My favourite manga as well... I wished they made an anime series out of these. Or a live action!

      Live action would be creepy if those black thingies running around... X3 Unless they can make them adorable ala G-Force...

    OMG THANK YOU! Means I can buy her without worrying if I have to paint her or not! Looks shiney, might flat-matt topcoat her to stop the shine when I get her.

    I have a completely off topic question.

    I see that you managed to mix text and pictures and you put text before the first picture. I failed to figure out to do so, so could you please enlighten me on the arts of posting? ^^;

      If you still have not figured that out:
      The text that you include with the upload (on the first page) goes at the top of article before all the pictures.
      Then on the "Manage Pictures" tab all text you put in the description of pictures appears after respective pictures. Don't forget to press "save" or "save-all" after making changes.

        D'oh.... I should have guessed ^^;

        The text that you include with the upload (on the first page) goes at the top of article before all the pictures.
        Odd. I got the first picture before the text, nomatter what I did.

          Hm, apparently something change recently and now when you only have one picture, the general description is no longer at the top of the article.
          If you have more than one picture it still works as expected and puts description at the top (just verified with one of my other posts).

          Given that hte "page style" is the same for both types of posts, I would say this is Bugreport Time! ;)

            Yeap, the rules changed when you have only 1 uploaded piccie, the description will go to the bottom... ^^;

    I wouldn't use marker to draw all the line as it already nice. If you insisted, try thinner line marker. I'm still waiting mine to ship over.
