Autumn Miku Hatsune
Hey guys!
Long time no see! I know some of you have seen this on other sites during its making, but never got the chance to post pictures of it completed. For those of you who don't know my project, I like to introduce you to my custom resin Volks kit "Autumn Miku". I been dying to do this theme for a while ever since I saw 1st snapshots of Snow Miku. I figured I wait for GSC or Max Factory to come out with the other season themed versions, but since no luck had come my way, I decided to get one made. Even though I had the design drafted on paper, I did not have the talents to paint Miku since I just made my way into resin kits, but luckily I knew someone who did, Annya. Thanks to Annya, she made my hopes for a Autumn Miku a reality and exceeded my expectations while painting her, so thanks Annya!
Anyways, here are some shots I took earlier today. Sorry for the horrible pics, I sold my DSLR (D5000) to upgrade to a D7000. I'm still waiting for its arrival next week :0/

Wow she's stunning @-@ I bet you must be proud of yourself ^^ She gives off a nice warm vibe <3
Yeah I relly love it, especially since I came up with the design ^_^
Ooooo~ . . . preeettyyy~ :3
Nice job! I can't wait to see when you have one for each season.
I was thinking that too lol, but probably won't be happen or be complete. The current Miku (Teal hair) should be spring because of her spring onion she carries, Snow Miku will be made to scale eventually, and Autumn I have. Which then leaves summer, but Miku in yellow doesn't look that great :0}
Dude she's pretty amazing! Be proud of yourself - Autumn Miku = Win!
TY!
You're welcome <3
Totally awesome! Thanks for posting pictures. (As a linguist, I am curious as to the pronunciation of 'Annya.' Is it just a spelling variant of 'Anya,' short 'o' sound, or is it more 'Anne' + 'ya', short 'a' sound?)
I think its "Anne" + "Ya" but I could be wrong? I never met her before, I just contacted her through e-mail. You can always ask her on her site.
I like the warm colors in her hair.
Wow, great job!!
Shana!?
Haha...Shana cosplaying as Miku
Sweet.
Good job. I like the colour choices.
Awesome... Nice one!
This rocks! BTW, you still heading over to Japan?
Sadly no, at lest not this year. My research group decided to play it safe, it was a 2-8 vote :(
But I'm going to live in Tokyo for 3 months starting March 2012 in the Aoto area, so I'm pretty stoked about that :D
Sorry to hear that bud. Kyoto is in even better shape than Tokyo so you guys wouldn't have noticed anything wrong. Hope the time passes quickly for your trip to arrive. I'm down to the last week and am really excited about heading back. Already reliving my memories from the last trip.
Yeah I have a couple friends who live in Kyoto who told me everything is normal there. But my group figured it would be a waste of funding to be in Japan only for 2 weeks in Kyoto rather than 2 months in Kyoto and the remaining stay in Tokyo. Its kool, at least I know I'll be in Japan every summer for the next 3 years since we have a partnership with Waseda University for that long.
That's cool. If you decide to go on your own this year let me know and I'll give you some tips about getting around in Tokyo.
Very nice~ Well done. Thanks for sharing the pic with us. Cannot wait to see other version of each season :)
TY, I'll try to come up with a "Summer Miku" but choosing a color is going to be tough =0}
Awesome job you did (^^) did you enter this into E2046's recent contest?
Nope, didn't know about it. I'll look into the details, thanks!
The finished product looks great!
Just thinking that those leaves on the hair could only be done on a figure
Thanks, I would totally do this to a nendo but it'll be hard since they come pre-painted. I'm still surprised that a Snow Miku in scaled version hasn't been released yet.
I'd like to ask, how did you do the eyes so well?
I design Miku on paper, even down to her eyes but I didn't paint her. I have to thank the artist Annya for that.
Stunning! Very well done!
