I just brought a psp and already an Error??!!

Hey Comrades,
I really need your help this time, I just brought a psp along with a 16gb memory stick and a few games from Play-Asia and Renchi. So I was trying to play the 3rd birthday game (Asia Ver.) and went into the extra option to download a portion of the game into my memory stick so it can reduce loading times but I keep getting this error code: 0 screen so I wasn't able to use this option and I have tried over 10 times and each time it stops at random percentages, highest it reached before error was around 40%. I'll appreciated if anyone can tell me how I can fix this or can tell me what is wrong with my system. Many thanks in advance!!!
I didn't have any issues with mine. Have you tried potentially reformatting your memory stick( but not before back up any wanted data of course ^^;) or trying another memory stick? not sure what error code 0 means, but it could be a corrupt memory stick. Normally when I see an error code, its a bit longer. odd. Hopefully, its not anything too serious. Good luck with the fix, and enjoy! I just started my second playthrough to earn more weapons and goodies ^^

was just watching some videos on youtube and just notice I pay $50 for a fake sony 16gb memory stick on ebay :(
oh man....try to open a case on ebay, see if you can get your money back. in the mean time, 8GB is cheap and more than enough for your psp ( unless you decide to hack it). I have a 8GB card, and a hacked psp and i find it more than enough to hold 5-6 games + 1-2 seasons of anime videos.
Yeah, I think I'll go for 8gb if it's cheap, how much do they go for nowadays? Also can you recommend me on where to buy some batteries and a battery charger for the psp for a good price? Thanks!
Third party cards and converter cards (SD to Memory Stick adapter) works very well...

Just a note: Most of them are cheaper than eBay price and almost all of them are third party...
amazon is selling 8GB for 27 dollars right now. as for batteries and the charger, ebay should be best, just make sure to buy from a seller with good feedback. if you buy it new from stores, it's going to cost a lot. anyways, that's all i can think of.
Btw the 16gb memory stick I brought from a someone on ebay with over 1,100 positive feedback -_-; ...dun think I can trust ebay anymore unless they show the photos of the exact product not some prototype pics.

Hey, you've already been told your mem sticks a fake so I'll just put my 2 cents and say get a mem stick from a reputable seller (amazon, your local tech store or something else with a reputation). Buying from ebay is always a gamble >.> and probably 4gb is more then enough if you only plan on playing games and 8gb for putting some movies/anime on. 16gb+ cards are only really necessary for people who plan on hacking their psp and doing some *cough* things with it.
16GB+ cards are needed if you buy games off PSN. Games are 500 megs to 1.8 gigs (UMDs hold up to 1.8 gigs) and they install to your memory card. Add-on content is the same way, installs on a memory card. If you plan on buying anything digitally, be it from the US or JP PSN think about what size to get before you buy. Its a pain to swap Mem cards in the PSP.
I decided to just go buy the 4gb with the sony earphone starter kit and it's costing me less than $30 shipped from Amazon. ^_^
been a while since I've been in the scene but, the newer ones are a pain to hack, that and if you ever decide to upgrade your memory, pick up a dual pro-duo micro sd platform, you can buy micro sd's way cheaper than a pro duo and the dual cart you can stuff 2 16's in there and run 32 gbs
Did you get it to work? It might be a firmware issue. Where you need the latest firmware in order for the data install to work.
I already installed the ofw 6.37 which came with the disc otherwise I couldn't even get into the loading screen of the game. I'm still waiting for my new memory stick to come before I can try again.
