I don't collect Nendoroids
But for some reason, the amount of Nendoroids I have has built up to this much >_<;; 80% of these were all impulse buys since I'm more a Figma person...
However I admit these things are addicting and quite photogenic. Was doing a mass photoshoot for my next round of comics and reviews, and then thought I'd take some pics of all my nendos. I didn't have enough light sources to fit them all, so I used Flash on my camera. I kind of like the effect on them, makes them more cartoon-like...
Anyways, I don't think I'll be buying more Nendoroids anytime soon, not unless it's Nanoha and Fate. No other Nendo on the horizon has really tickled my fancy ^_^;;

Haruhi was actually my first Nendoroid. Got her at the same time as Figma Haruhi. I think this was the start of my Figure Addiction (Before that I was a Gundam-otaku, well still am, kinda). Shana I ordered because I was into Shana at the time...
Only reason I got Ryoko was for the expansion parts for Mikuru and Haruhi >_>. Zange-chan I consciously got, because she's hawt, even as a Nendoroid ^_^;;
Churuya-san is not really a real Nendoroid, but she fits because she's in scale ^_^. The real nendoroid of her will not be in scale because she will be too big!
I got Ryoko for the same reason lol.I barley even use Ryokos head I keep her as Mikuru.
I got Ryoko when she went on sale last month... And she's my first Nendoroid so xD
I'm hoping the online store I purchase them from will restock Miku :(
Yeah I bought Ryoko and Mikuru at the same time on J-list while they were having a sale.I think I opened her first so that technically makes her my first nendoroid I guess.Gaaah I still need to buy a Miku but I also need Nagato and Tsuuruya to finish the Haruhi girls.
I kind of want Nagato too, despite the title of this thread ^_^;;
One thing I don't like about the expansion parts set is that Haruhi's ponytail seems to be quite a different shade of brown than her bangs. So it looks like she dyes her hair 2 different colours -_-;;
Yeah I noticed that too.I thought I May have gotten a bootleg but I got them both from respected sellers.It irks me a little but not too much.
Yeah, my Haruhi was from HLJ, and the Ryoko was from Hobby Search, so I think it's just a design defect >_>
Zange-Chan is not really hot, as much as she has massive sex-appeal and knows how to use it...

Nice collection of Nendo's. I only have *counts* 3. Only 6 figma. I collect PVC's predominantly, but if there are Figmas or Nendos I want, I won't hesitate to buy em.
lols I am getting my first Nen, but I wont get addicted, I only want ones with animal features, like Saber Lion and the little purple kitty one, but those are really hard to get now, so I am getting the Disgea (sp?) demon one which comes at the end of this months!!!!
Grats on getting Saber Lion. I was trying to going to every shop that's sells Nendoroids in Singapore (I may miss out a lot of shops) just to get my hands on one, but they say, sold out, already booked or didn't carry this Nendoroid.

I love Nendoroids. They are quite kawaii. I started with a Figma and now I already have 3 Figmas and 2 Nendoroids. My most expensive Figma is the Lily Saber that comes with a JPN PS2 game. Cost me about S$220+ or around ¥14,000+. I think I have 5 more Nendoroids in pre-order and will be anxious to have them in my hands. He he he...

i got a simple advice if you want to shoot with your flash instead of natural light. if you use a pocket camera or a dslr without any big gun(a.k.a flash gun), i recommend you to use a half transparent paper like tracing papaer and put it in front of you flash. the bigger the paper the better cause it will spread the light evenly, but remember that the light power will decrease so it will become darker. if you had a flash gun, use a bouncer or shoot with your flash upward so it will bounce at the ceiling. the result is you'll have a more natural light. happy experimenting with you flash.
p.s: i'm still an amateur though, so i`m sorry if i looked like a know-everything-guy.
