Date Masamune... is dead.
It comes with great regret to inform you all that one of Japan's mighty guardians has succumbed to injuries in battle. It saddens me immensely, but I must share with you pictures of his last minutes, as well as the culprit at hand. Maybe you could help prevent another tragedy.
Today's post is flavoured with ONM 68...
This is Date earlier. Proud as someone without his faithful motor-horse can be. It's like he was waiting for an opening. One wrong move, and it could have been the end for anyone. Well, that obviously isn't so... but anyone human. Anyone of this Earth. Anyone... but her.
"ARE YOU READY GUYS! YEEE HAA! INSUFFICIENT BLOOD! YOU SEE?" he mutters, which is roughly Japanese for "Don't worry, I'm safe here. Look at these sweet blades and then tell me how my life is in danger".
I did warn him.

My last words with him were here. I'll be back in a minute, I said. I won't be long. Please, be careful. She might be here. You can't be too careful.
"PUT GUNS ON!" he replies, which I think translates to "take care". What a guy.
But I'm a terrible person. I left him alone. It's my fault he's dead.
I got back, only to see this scene. Obviously, I go to photograph it, but then I notice that there is not one person here, but two.
Who in the world could that be?
Date? Why would you be down there? Wait...where's the rest of you? What happened Date?
...he's dead.
But that other guy... is quite clearly Date! The helmet, the armour...everything. What is going on?

I ask all of you, honestly and sincerely, that you check up on your Ui's. There's something not quite right with them. Not right at all. Ever watched Small Soldiers? It's like that, only worse.
Much worse.

I never suspected Ui to be a murderer. And kudos for the Small Soldiers reference. I will monitor my Figmas, scale figures and specially my nendoroids with even more attention now.
Thank you. I only hope that this one death may prevent many. She is evil, but until we can engineer a way of stopping her, we can only stay vigilant.
I think in order to be on the safe side, we should keep Ui isolated. Just until we can keep her 'urges' at bay.
Date Masamune, we salute thee for your bravery and thank you for your sacrifice so we can stop this great, great evil that is Hirasawa Ui.
Someone will take her out...eventually...
