Sakuracon 2011 "Loot"

This was a purchase I was not expecting to make. Max Factory Asahina Mikuru Gekisou ver. She was 70 dollars which I think was a really good price considering how high convention prices usually are. Stephanie Sheh, the voice of Mikuru in the english dub, was a guest at Sakuracon so I had her autograph the base--an idea I got from another figure.fm member. The only down-side to this is now I have to get the rest of the Gekisou set, otherwise Mikuru is a loner on my shelf.

Bakemonogatari Petit set. VOFAN, the artist for the Light Novel series was a guest for the weekend. Unfortunately I was not able to get his autograph. I did, however, attend his panel, and one point of interest was the fact that he considers Karen as his favorite out of all the Bakemonogatari girls. This probably just seems strange to me because I've only seen the anime, and Araragi-kun's sisters barely get any attention, whereas, in the Light Novels they have their own arc.
