1/4 Bayonetta
Actually she arrived here around march already, but at the time I was quite busy with work and also just not in the mood (and too lazy :P) to make a post. But my lack of time due to work finally paid off, I just got offered a long-time employment in the company I was trained in, so funds for my dearest hobby are secured from now on!
Anyway, on to Bayonetta:
It's a gorgeous kit, absolutely incredible. I bought it pre-painted from e2046.com. I've painted some simpler miniatures (warhammer) before, but I just wouldn't be able to bear it if she turned out ugly, so I left the work to the hands of the pros. And it shows!
(as usual, sorry for the cellphone pictures - but figures are eating up all the funds I could use to buy a new camera :D)

This is a picture of her standing in my room, fully assembled.
I even bought a custom-made display case, a turntable and some decoration cloth to give this figure the environment it deserves :)

The pose is typical for Bayonetta, just like the ones she's been striking in the game. I'm looking forward to the sequel, even though I've still got stuff to do in the first part. But after getting the pure platinum rating in every chapter (as a personal challenge), I needed a break for a while.

I glued her together using epoxy glue. From what I read on a website about resin kits, this kind of glue is the best to keep resin together. So far I can't complain at all - nothing's loose and everything's in place, even the metal parts I used the glue on!

The chest. I like this paintjob better than the adult "see-through" versions, it's more like the official style this way. You can guess, but you can't see. Just like in the game ^^

The face is really well-done by both the kit makers and the painters. I like her slightly pale skin complexion, it goes well with the black clothing.
The glasses were very hard to put in place though, I even scratched off some of the paint on her ear by accident, so that I had to repaint that part. Be careful with this step of assembly if you're also planning to get her!

I like the flowing style and transparency of her "suit-hair" at the side. The metal chain and amulets are also very nicely detailed.
You can also see the nice "skin-line" on her outfit.

Her lovely back ^^
The skin looks absolutely awesome and has different shades to highlight her shoulders and spine. I really love looking at the figure from this angle!

A close-up of the boots and one of her guns. You can decide whether to glue the gun to the socket in her boot or to just stick it in. I decided to use glue, because she will be staying in a display case anyway.

Another shot of the Scarborough Fair. Just this part would already be enough for a sculpt of its own if you ask me.

Gathering adds a little bonus for preorders: I got a transparent base with this metal Bayonetta-decal. Looks very stylish and holds her up nicely.

A close shot of her glasses. The detail on the metal objects is amazing, they're all cut extremely well and with great attention to detail - like the ornaments on the sides of these glasses.

The writing on her hairbands is so very detailed, it's almost a pity that you rarely see it that close.

And here she is on my (messy ^^) desk. Quite a looker, but also really huge!
I even had to rearrange my shelves for her to fit in this place, but I think it was worth it. I can also turn her around freely and look at her from every angle if I ever get tired of the front view, thanks to the turntable beneath the display case.

Your Bayonetta is so incredible. Everything looks great, and I stared at the face for a bit. It's really well done. "Fly me to the moon" is playing in my head and I think I'll start playing the game again now. Thanks.
You are making me want one now, and I almost would cancel all my pre orders just to get this.
That's an awesome Bayonetta kit! Where did you get that custom display and how much did that set you back?
I bought the case here: http://www.sora-shop.com/
It seems like they'd ship overseas, but I'm not sure.
The price was exactly 85 Euros. Pretty expensive, but it is one of the very few german shops that sell custom-made acrylic display cases in almost all sizes.
I didn't want to try stuffing her into a detolf und any circumstances ^^
Can you tell me the dimensions on the custom display case that you bought? I ordered a 1/4 kos-mos and would like to get an idea how much the display case will be.
Sure, just looked through my mails and even found the right one:
(cm):47 x 27 x 57, or 18.5" x 10.62" x 22.44" (hooray for converters :P).
This is the only Bayonetta statue I would want. Love her! Best action game I've ever played. Better than Devil May Cry, God of War, and Ninja Gaiden combined!
I agree!
Most other figures or statues seem to have a hard time capturing her properly but to me this one does everything just right.
Dante is also cool, but he isn't as unique as Bayonetta ^^
She looks amazing, I mean, she's expensive but just because she has many details and is huge ^^.
Besides, your desk looks great with Bayonetta around.
Congratulations for this nice figure and thanks for sharing, bye!
