Sakura-Con 2011, Halfway and to the End: Day 2 and 3.
After three days of writing, quickly reviewing and a little bit of editing. Behold! Part two of two of my experience, at Sakura-Con 2011.

Cristina looking at "herself" ha ha ha.
I missed the Funimation Sneak Peek, Aniplex of America Panel and Bandai Industry Panel. As result I spent a lot of time checking out the Exhibitors’ Hall, the Artist Alley, snapped a few shots of cosplayers and lined-up for the scheduled K-ON! signing at the Aniplex booth.

Speed from Speed Racer
On the first signing session, I managed to get Cristina Vee, Stephanie Sheh and Cassandra Lee Morris to sign a print I prepared for them. In the Exhibitors’ Hall, as I watched the live stream at the Nico Nico Douga booth. I was asked to go on the live stream of Sakura-Con on Nico Nico Douga. For a bit of laughs, I did the infamous Spycrab walk and got a decent reaction out of the viewers and the crowd. After the live stream moment, I ran into AX Live at the Aniplex/Bandai booth and talked with them!

Packy from Cat Sh!t One. Awesome

During the scheduled K-ON! signing in Day 2 of Sakura-Con.

Frances from AX Live as Loveslinger Sheryl

It was a lot of fun talking with Bryan, Frances, Courtney and Jason and hopefully within 5 years. I will have the chance to attend Anime Expo. It will be awesome seeing them again and hopefully Danny Choo will be there, especially Maridah (real life Saber) and Precious (famous for her Raiden and Selvia Bles cosplays).

Cosplay group shot!

Bryan and Courtney
A few moments after meeting AX Live. I ran into Saber Fate/Zero (Sara) and some how it “snowballed” into a mini photo shoot with other Fate cosplayers.

After the mini photo shoot. I spotted another Melfina with Gene Starwind from Outlaw Star and joined in on their photo shoot.

Gene with Melfina

A glorious shot of Melfina.

Save me "Lunks"! I mean! Wait... What?

Fierce Deity Link! At Sakura-Con 2011, there was a Majora's Mask!

Heather at Sakura-Con 2011 and it was great seeing her again.

Falcon!

Respect Knuckles.

Paunch!!
Later in the day, I met up with our Tsukino-Con group at the Zapp Brannigan’s Spaceship of Love 2: Bigger, Longer, Brannigannier.

Takuto, may your brilliance shine because you are fabulous.

Van and I have one thing in common with our cosplays, respect.
My friend Thomas and I ran into a few cosplayers and had to stop.

Shana doing a brofist, oh yah.

Fran from Final Fantasy XII

Brofisting with Domon in the line for Zapp Brannigan's Spaceship of Love 2. I find it disheartening that many people mistook Domon as a bad cosplay of Vincent from FFVII.
Unfortunately, the room was already a max capacity and our group decided to go to the panel, Yaoi and You. Thinking about it, I don’t know why I agreed to stay with the group and attend the panel. I will have to admit, the panel itself was interesting and informative on the regards of censorship, specific terms used, hearing comments from the audience and information from the panel organizer.

Walter and Alucard service in the Yaoi and You Panel. Oh god Alucard's face ha ha ha.
After the panel, our group decided to head back to the hotel and end the night. Apparently, some interesting events happened with the Tsukino-con group while I was asleep. Ha ha ha, I have heard a few details on what happened during Truth and Dare, and I was a unsure if it was true however I was amused.
With the final day of Sakura-Con 2011, I chose to walk around in the Exhibitors’ hall and wait for the 2nd K-ON! signing and mini performance. During my walk around the Exhibitors’ hall, I ran into Stephanie from Tsukino-con 2010.

Stephanie as Aerith.

Dead Kamina! Oh jeezes ha ha ha.

K-ON! signing with Tony Oliver (known as Rick Hunter in Robotech), Cristina Vee (Mio Akiyama), Cassandra Lee Morris (Ritsu), Stephanie Sheh (Yui).

After the signing and mini performance, I took the chance to get another group photo with a Cristina, Stephanie and Cassandra, Mugi and Azusa before they had to go.

After everyone left, I noticed some writing on the K-ON! banner at the Aniplex booth and decided to inspect it. Upon closer inspection, I noticed there were four signatures, Cassandra’s, Cristina’s and Stephanie’s and another signature above Mugi. Anyone want to confirm who’s signature this is?

Bandai's K-ON! banner with all three of the girls' signature and a signature I'm not sure of, above Mugi.
With a bit of time left, I wandered around the convention until our group’s meet up time.

A Black Mesa survivor, where's Barney when you need him.

Guilty Gear cosplays of Ky and Millia done nicely.

Looks like Ky was too forward lol.

Lina Inverse from Slayers

ODST
When everyone in our Tsukino-con group regrouped, we decided to do a quick Fate/Stay Night, Hollow Ataraxia “photo shoot” before Blue C Sushi for a quick “early dinner”.

Avenger, "why am I with the tsundere." ha ha ha

Happy Illya is quite happy

Tsukino-con Fate/Stay Night, Hollow Ataraxia cosplay group.

At Blue C Sushi, they provided dishes with a bit of an anime/manga flare.

On the ferry back home, from Sakura-Con in Seattle.
Below are a few extra photos. The photos are from my friends.

Shiryaku Ika musume de geso.

Stardriver group, so fabulous.

Kiraboshi!
From Sakura-Con 2011, here is an image of what I acquired. I'm surprised I didn't spend over $50 US on goods.

The goods and signed items from Sakura-Con 2011.
The left poster is from Day 2 where as the right poster is from Day 3. On Day 3, Tony Oliver joined in on the unscheduled signing.

I asked Tony to write, "SDF Macross Never Forget."

Cristina Vee, "Hands off the Panda!!"

Casssandra Lee Morris, "1, 2, 3, 4 Moe Moe Kyun!" with Tony's signature on the top right.

Stephanie Sheh

An awesome K-ON! print I had prepared for the Cristina, Stephanie and Cassandra to sign.
There was so much to do within a short time. I would like to hear a bit of your experience, from Sakura-Con 2011. Feel free to discuss here and give your feedback. I have a feeling there are a few Sakura-Con staff and volunteers on Figure.FM who would like here your opinions.

Looked like a lot fun. Cool cosplay pictures.
So that's what Bryan looks like with out his mask on when doing AX Live.
KIRABOSHI!!!

For me, it has been going nicely. Looking back to last week, it's amazing that I was at Sakura-Con having a great time meeting the cast of AX Live, Stephanie Sheh and Cristina Vee.
