NYAF 2009 Loot and stuff

Sadly I thought last year was a lot better. The selection of Gunpla and figures was very limited, and the cosplay was better last year too ^_^;;
For those of you who went, what did you think of it?

The great Yoshiyuki Tomino, it was an honor to see him. The line to see his panel was extremely long, I ended up with a seat towards the back.

Funny how NYAF is a 20 minute walk from where I live, yet I didn't attend.

The Legend of Zelda art looks awesome!
I went on Saturday, so I didn't get to see the performance... I was able to see their arrival though which was kinda cool.
Ah, another anime fest I missed this year!
How come I learn about most of these when it is either too late or when I have other commitments for the dates.
I wonder what the good anime fests in US are that are worth attending so that I can start tracking them more closely.
