Into the Backstreets of Ueno and Akiba

Another overcast day and me feeling tired led to me trying to take it easy and walking around the backstreets of Ueno and Akiba. Really interesting to see some of the various businesses and the buildings that house them. Lots of food shops as well as bars, clubs and other adult stuff. Lots of people in the area to going to places like the Ueno zoo and Nezu shrine with a long line at the zoo. As it turned out, there were several "firsts" for me today starting with my first visit to Coco Curry. Awesome place that I will visit again. I also got my first Yoko at one of the back shops in Akiba as well as my first Sentai figure Shinken Red. Unfortunately the weather got worse and I decided to head back to the hotel and get some rest. Hopefully tomorrow will be more active.
