MG Shin Musha Gundam
Hi all,
Here's one of my older works, before I worked on this fella. The colors consist of mainly spraycans which I obtained from the local hardware store. This was before I decided that Tamiya spraycans were so much better to work with.
This Musha took me about a month and a half to complete. I personally think it looks best standing (since it's a melee unit), so I decided to make a rough DIY stand out of some leftover acrylic sheet and a disposable chopstick. I added an el-cheapo cardboard background a little later after that... just for kicks ;)
I'm not sure if this qualifies as a diorama... but I'm just giving it a try anyway... I'm well aware it looks 'cheap' as heck... lol.

nice and clean job! ^^
love the weapons too!
looks decent too.
This is the Sengoku no Jin version?
Nope. This is the plain jane regular version ;)
wow, nice! shiny weapons!
Cool! I like the shiny metallic red. XD
ncie metallic finish there
L this thing my friend!
L for Luxurious.
Thanks all. Yeah... I like shiny metallic things... lol!
I was never a big fan of the shin musha gundam. But I can appreciate the work that was put into this one. Looks good ! The glossy look is definitely something new.
Thanks senseij!
hmm, nice job on the spear grip
it have wood like texture, what paint did you use?
I used a spraycan from the hardware store, the color was labelled as Rozel Brown. Seems to contain metallic flakes of some kind.
Love the diy background ^^ nicely done. Maybe if you did a stand for the weapons will be even better. Just my 2 cents. Otherwise its I love the metallic look of your shin musha ^^.
Yeah... agree wiv you. Unfortunately... my scratchbuilding skills are still pretty much non-existent... lol... will try harder in future ;)
speechless, i really admire your work with the metallic finish and Tamiya spay cans.
Are you planning on getting the Shin Musha MK.II? cause i'll love to see a metallic black finish from you. :)
Hey... thanks! Yeah.... I'm smitten by the Shin Musha MK II. I'll definitely keep this kit in view... but before that... I still have an unopened MG Blue Astray which is still lying around unopened... LOL. Wish there were 48hours in a day... ;)
