More Mcdonald's Japan
ft. Chicken Tatsuta.
Thought you guys would like to see the sandwich and tray advertisement up close. I find it fascinating to see ordinary things (advertisements, buses, signs, etc.) in a different country. It's so familiar, yet so different.

Closed box. Capital latin letters makes anything look cool. Also notice the QR codes. I heard they tried it in some places in America, but it didn't catch on.

Up close with dynamic blur. My iPhone takes pictures at the default 1600x1200. Don't know how to change it, but I hope it's not too big for some.

Mcdonald's card machine. I don't think there's an advantage to buying the card since you can just pay with cash. I remember they had Mcdonald's gift cards in the States, but who honestly would want one for their birthday?

A relaxing "Autumn" day in Azabu Juuban. It felt good to just eat and watch the cars and people go by. Mcdonald's is pretty trendy in Japan and has a reputation for being relaxing, clean, and fast. The only con is that the portions are small for the price.

BONUS: Afterwards, I went to the bank to get some money. They have picture books and toys for those who bring their kids. I won't lie, I enjoy this magnetic drawing pad.

LOL shoulda drawn something a bit offensive and then leave it for the next kid
Magnetic drawing pads are so fun. I used my younger siblings's ones more than they do. ^^;
Then again gift giving is more prevalent in Japan than it is here in the states. I could see giving this to employees or friends as a thank you. I agree as a birthday present it is a tacky gift. I too like the trendy atmosphere of McDees in Japan. Then again, just about everything western in Japan is familiar but pleasantly different. ^^
I love those boards!!! I also loved them as a kid, though most times I liked coloring the whole screen black for some reason...
