Yokohama trip
Made my first trip outside of Tokyo yesterday since the weather was so nice and opted for Yokohama. Lots of things to see in Yokohama especially the Chinatown which is tons of fun so I left my stuff in a locker in Tokyo station and caught the Tokaido line straight to Yokohama station. Actually took the subway from Yokohama station to Chukagai(chinatown) and worked my way back to the station. Everything in Chinatown has the Chinese motif including the Koban police box. The stores and restaurants are outrageously decorated to try and get your attention and the vendors are out in force trying to convince you to try their wares. Had lunch at the same place as last year and it was just as fabulous as before. After picking up some oolong tea at my usual vendor, I headed to Yamashita park to enjoy the bay view as I walked back. Passed several popular sites like the Akarenga warehouses before ending up at the observatory at the Landmark Tower. The view was awesome and I got a surprise at the mall inside the tower had a Pokemon Center and a Shonen Jump store. Major geek time there! As I was leaving, I got a quick taste of home as there was a Krispy Kreme store on the way to the train station and I got myself a glazed kruller(no jelly dammit). This trip to Yokohama was way better than last year and I can't wait for my next trip there.

Ultraman guards my junk.
