HGUC 1/144 RGM-89D JEGAN

Posted by mikiwank [www]

I'm happy to share with you my last work on Bandai HGUC kit, RGM-89D JEGAN.
This version of JEGAN does not exist in the HGUC line I have to used as the working basis a Jegan from "CCA" movie. The bulk of the work being done to change the belt and shoulders to match the RGM-89D version, that of the OVA "Gundam Unicorn".
Realisation
To achieve this plamo, I used some metal parts for thrusters and add extra panels. The belt is realise with plaplate and shoulders is resin recast from stark Jegan shoulders.
To avoid these mods I could just buy the kit "Stark Jegan" because the basis of the wicked is good. But then where would have been pleased to make my own Jegan?
This kit will be integrated with a large diorama that will be showcased at the "Mondial du Modélisme 2011 - Paris"
Enjoy !

You can see all pics here and follow WIP on my mecha forum: hangar-mk.com (I' m the admin ^^) Thank you :)

the background seemed important to highlight the model kit and the context in which it operates.

The back grounds are nice. That is some very good work. Love the shades in there, I hope I can see it in the Diorama!

Though there are a few small smudges in the shoulders, they're pretty good for modded ones. I love it when someone puts in the effort to makes something nice instead of taking the easy way out.

Thank you guy! About theses small smudges,I've realized too late, I already put the varnish on it. That is to say how much they are small. :)
