Hinagiku (in a swimsuit) on the stage

The packaging is fairly typical, with the box with the figure shrink-wrapped onto a cardboard to keep it secured in the center of the box. Some old newspaper would have been nice for padding, but fortunately the cardboard box didn't get punctured on the way here.

The box was fairly basic but did its job. Interestingly, the clear plastic cover has left her face and hands in the open. I guess it had to do with her hands extending somewhat far out.

Removing the remaining pieces of plastic that keep her clothes in place was fun, it revealed the feature that was not really advertised anywhere - that her outfit was cast-off. Hmm, interesting.

Looks very decent so far. The quality of figures Kotobukiya recently put out has really increased in quality. The joints come together perfectly resulting in a seamless fit for the most part.

Really like her flowing hair fluttering in motion.

Fairly plain high heels, but that's what she wore on the stage, after all. Interestingly, she comes secured onto her stage with a screw in the bottom. It will be more difficult to get her a custom stand for her to stand on if one chooses to.

Now this was what she looks like with everything removable removed. Still decently covered...

Very nicely sculpted figure overall and its entirety is detailed as such that she can be left posing like this if one chooses to. Although I think she will find it awkward to be left in just her bathing suit...
