Allison's New Look
I purchased my Allison (Alna White Christmas Version) a new wig, I think it is a big improvement over her default wig. I like her default wig, but there are certain things about it that bug me. >.< *cough* the bangs *cough* Plus the blonde color and her white skin is a bit much.
I made some time to take some pics of my lovely Allison with her new hair color, plus she gets to show off one of the outfits I found on YJA. She seems to be very happy with her new look. ^_^

Switched the shirt underneath with the one from Alna's Everyday Wear set 2. Very I happy I was able to get that outfit too thanks to YJA.

i have the original Alna, and i have to say, the darker brown from the original default wig does suit her better than the new blonde

I'm happy you both agree that this wig color looks better on her. I think it really helps show her face off better too. I know I just wasn't satisfied at all with that blonde wig. They made a bad choice making that her default wig color.
although i had to give my alna a haircut on the original wig lol, the bangs were just too long
I thought about doing that, but I ended up not going through with it because I was too afraid I would really mess it up. I just use hair clips to help hold them back now.

I also have Alna White Xmas Ver, and i feel that she needs a new wig. Maybe next time, when i recover from their online purchases. :P

I know I seen your posts of all the awesome loot your girls just received. That will take a little while to recover from. :)
This wig I have on my Alna I found on VolksUSA site under the Super Dollfie wig category. They have no sizes listed, but it fit perfectly on her head. I think when you purchase wigs off of other sites you stick with 8-9inches.
Sorry if that isn't much help, the wigs I bought from VolksUSA were my first alternate wigs for my girls. I have yet to try out any other web sites.
The soft brown looks really good on her!
I also have the Christmas Alna vers, and I love how she looks in just about any wig. Her default right now is a Leekeworld W121_E in Goldenrod. :)

I checked out the wig you currently have on your Alna and that's a great choice. I bet she looks fantastic in it. When I get some extra cash I'm going to be trying LeekeWorld for some wigs. They seem to have the best selection. When I bought these from Volks they just didn't have much to pick from.
Oh gosh I agree, the LeekeWorld wigs are really amazing. I'm addicted....
lol when the white color came out this christmas I went a little overboard with ordering a lot of styles XD
That's what I'm afraid of when I go to order. It's going to difficult narrowing down my choices so I don't bust the bank...lol x.X

I love that dress! I was lucky enuff to find in the Volks Osaka store when I was in Japan last year. I picked up the Pink Chiffon one along with it.
Thanks for sharing the links to those posts, I hadn't seen those yet. Yoko and Manami look great in it. I figured that they would. :) That's amazing you were able to go to Japan. That's a trip I would love to be able to take some day. I found mine and the pink chiffon dreaa on VolksUSA site. I'm happy they still had them in stock. :)
There must be several botanical gardens around where you live. That one is different from one you just posted right? Seems like you live in an ideal spot, access to several beautiful places to take pictures of your girls. Also that's great you are able to get together with other doll owners and have doll meets. I bet they are lots of fun. That's something else I would love be able to do and meet other doll owners. :)

Being able to go to Japan was a huge deal for me. I was there for 2 weeks and it was THE best thing I've ever done. I would love to go back.
I'm lucky that Charleston SC has LOADS of parks and garden spots along with old time plantations. Brookgreen is in Myrtle Beach which is only 90 minutes north of me. SO yeah, lots of nice places for photos.

Won it at a pretty good price too, just sucks when using YJA you have to add on so many fees because of the deputy service. :/ Oh well it was worth it, made a great addition to Allison's new look. ^_^
You're welcome! I know what you mean about the deputy services fees. I just got in an outfit from Shopping Mall Japan that ran 8800 yen ( about $103USD ) and after fees and all the little addons it was almost $150! Not cheap but there was no way I'd ever have gotten it without using those guys.
That's who I've been using is Shopping Mall Japan. I really like how they are really easy to use and it's a huge help with outfits that are impossible to find. Just have to be willing to pay those mega prices. I'm thinking about maybe going ahead and getting one or two of the DP25 outfits, not sure if I can wait for VolksUSA. That's how bad I want them...lol. I noticed that several have just appeared on there, including that denim set. ;)
I have only done one deal thru them and while it was easy, I wasnt ready for all the fees. I had no clue. Still, it was worth it to get something I would not have been able to get otherwise.
I *really* want the denim set! But I can wait til Volks US has them. I'm fine. XD
