Misaka #19,268

Posted by Varg [www]

Figma Misaka imouto! I had pretty much forgotten about her - I preordered her in October - so I was suprised when the postman stopped by today.

I have to start by thanking the people of this site; if I hadn't seen an article about her here last fall I would have missed the preorder and thus missed her completely since she's a 20,000 pcs. limited edition.

If you are insane enough to want to hear my opinon about her it can be found here. I'd reccomend sticking to just the pictures though^^

Mouseover = load notes.
Misaka #19,268

Love the black stand! Every Misaka imouto has a serial number under the base, making each one unique:

Mouseover = load notes.
Misaka #19,268

一九二六八
19,268

Don't mind the reflection of my hands.

Mouseover = load notes.
Misaka #19,268
Mouseover = load notes.
Misaka #19,268

She came with a spot on her skirt:( It's hard to tell if it's paint or a defect in the colour of the skirt itself - if it is paint, does anyone know a way to remove it?

(Is it just me or does the first sentance above sound dirty?)

Mouseover = load notes.
Misaka #19,268
Mouseover = load notes.
Misaka #19,268

Of course I had to pair up the clone with the real deal - they go great together!

Mouseover = load notes.
Misaka #19,268

Identical, except for the eyes and the goggles. But, just like in the anime, there is a foolproof way to tell them apart:

Mouseover = load notes.
Misaka #19,268

    Lucky to get her. I like the Imoutos way more than Misaka.

    Thanks for the pictures! Didn't know that she came with a serial number and the black base is a nice change of pace.

      Black base should have been standard for all figma!

      The serial number is also a lottery number, three winners will get To aru majutsu no Index DVD-box 1 and 2. The winning numbers will be announced next month, but with a winst chance of 3/20000 I probably shouldn't get my hopes up ^^;

          It's written on the box that they'll be announced at dengekiya.com in the beginning of june.

          On the box I say, actually all info is printed on one of the flaps on the inside of the box. Almost makes me wonder if they have something against people wanting to keep their boxes sealed ^^

      Yeah, it's kind of a small running gag in the series, with the Misaka imoutos being way to eager to show off their shimapan to prove their identity.

    I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing I got into Index/Railgun way after this item was out of stock because I want one, but I am COMPLETELY broke right now so I wouldn't have been able to afford her ><

    *jealousies* ><

      That's gotta suck. With her being a limited second hand prices won't be cheap either. Seems she's going for around double retail price at Yahoo Auctions at the moment :/

    Wondering when mine will come (got mine from Tokyo Hunter).

    Is there a way to know the serial number without opening the box or is it just only under the figma stand?

      The number's not printed on the box, so taking her out seems like the only option if you want to know it. So not good for those planning on keeping her sealed.
