UK Nendoroid Gumako: Support ver

Posted by papermoon
I have paid for 5 of this nendoroid

hello, i was wondering if any other Brits r interested in pooling together to get this nendoroid.
i am looking to buy 5 but only want 3-4. the nendoroids cost 3000yen + 2000yen EMS

Even if u buy 1 nendoroid, u still might get TAX cuz the tax level is £18 - anything package over £18 in value will be TAXed is what i read from Royal Mail/Parcel Force web site.

i will charge you the price of 5000yen (tax in already in this price) + £3 recorded delivery to you. cuz in Britain we have to pay 20% TAX plus handling fee on our packages. chances r i will have to pay tax on top of the normal price because the package is sent by EMS. from my experience EMS = 100% TAX while SAL is very low chance of TAX.

i will provid evidence of this charge like a photo or scan of the invoice from Royal Mail/Parcel Force

If they dont charge me TAX then i will only charge u the 3000yen pluz 400yen EMS + £3 recorded delivery.

i will pay for for the nendoroid out of my pockets 1st and u only have to pay me once they arrive to me.

also got Miku support nendoroid for sale too at the normal price of 5000yen pluz £3 recorded delivery - got myself 5 of them. if i dont get TAXed i will charge u less.

i am not profiting from this as everythnig is charge at the normal price. dont forget - this nendoroid r made to order, so i doubt a reissue in future but rather they will release another support nendoroid.

Mouseover = load notes.

No thanks, regardless of how you slice it still going to be expensive even if you order in bulk and it makes no difference if the item is shipped by EMS or SAL if they declare the full item value on the parcel you will still get charged import tax.

u will be charge once for handling fee which is £8-£10 for all 5 nendoroids while individually u will be charged £8-£10 x 5 = £42-£50 for handling fee but the tax of 20% will be the same for bulk or individual.

the money saved from handling fee will off set ur tax so u will end up paying 5000yen+£3 delivery instead of 5000yen + 20% (1000yen)tax + £8-£10 handling fee.

make more sense to deal through me an individually

Hmmm.. I would rather just order for myself, it just works out easier for me and I get the item delivered to me directly. The import tax wont cost that much, and I can get the handling fee waived since I can just collect it directly from the parcelforce depot.

The customs clearance charge from parcel force is £13.50 for an EMS parcel.Parcelforce do not waive this fee if there is a custom charge.

Well I spoke the manager at my local depot and he agreed to just charge me for the VAT.

Sounds like a reasonable offer, shame I already sorted something out elsewhere. As an aside, I agree the parcelforce admin fee is unjustified blackmail (especially as it is more than Royal Mail, and involves absolutely no work on their part) and it makes sense to try to minimize it.
