Fanime 2011 - Day 4
Hey everyone! This is my coverage of Day 4 of the 2011 FanimeCon that was held in San Jose, California during the Memorial Day weekend. It was my first Fanime and first anime convention of this size. I took many pictures at this event (619 photos) that you can all see in my Flickr set called "Fanime 2011".
All photos are in chronological order, meaning that timeline wise they are in the order I took them so you can see what the day was like for me for the whole day.

Checked out of the hotel at about 10 in the morning, meaning that I had to lug around all my stuff while at the con waiting for my ride home.

Taiga Aisaka from Toradora!

I was going to sign up for the free 30 day trial but I did not have my credit card info on me needed to complete the process. I could of gotten a free shirt and a chance at some prizes in a raffle. Oh well.

Final photo of the Dealers Room, best room of all the exhibit halls.

Next to the Dealers Room was the Artists Gallery. I didn't go in here too much, thinking that most of it would just be art. There was more than what I expected, like this pixel art, cool and retro.

These little signs are simple and yet, I found myself buying some for my sister who I thought would like it (and she did). Also buy buying it I can study it to see if I can make a similar product for future uses.

Classic nervous drop and vein irritation emotion icons.

More coolsome art.

A Negima! / Love Hina Cosplay Gathering.

I requested Setsuna here to do her pose when she is about the slice something, I remember seeing this pose a lot in the manga.

Some people doing a fight with foam swords and silly string.

Me still waiting for a ride back. Luckily I was able to strap everything together to my bag so they don't fall off. I brought too much stuff to this con so as some people say, you live and you learn.

After my ride came around, I got some lunch at a place nearby called Asian Express. Oddly enough the style of the food and restaurant is very similar to that of Panda Express. I don't know if they are related as there is no actual reference to Panda Express in the restaurant despite the obvious similarities.

Cosplayers resting in the park.

Standard Haruhi Cosplayer.

This is what I got for my little sister. No I'm not cheap, this is what she wanted.

My loot of Fanime includes:
Mirai Suenaga L T-shirt
Code Geass Wall Scroll
Metal Gear Solid 1 Wall Scroll
Azusa Nakano Nendroid
Pokewalker not included.

What was different from previous FanimeCons in the past is the hotel room keys. They have different designs on them, five in all. The back is all the same though as seen in the middle bottom card.

My big haul of all my loot, Nendoroid Azusa. She is my first Nendoroid and anime figure. The next one I'm planning to get is the Mirai Suenaga figma coming out soon. I wish I could get it in time for AX for Danny to autograph, but probably won't get here in time.
If you missed it, here are my posts about Days 1, 2, and 3 of Fanime 2011:
Day 1 of FanimeCon 2011
Day 2 of FanimeCon 2011
Day 3 of FanimeCon 2011
These four posts about FanimeCon 2011 are more like photojournalism type posts. I'm going to do a summary post on my blog Topic "Otaku" soon.
Anyways I hope you enjoyed my coverage of the 2011 FanimeCon. I hope to meet more comrades at this year's Anime Expo and at future cons.
