Figure Mod Re-Paint Phase Three

Now that Mami and Haruka are finished onto Ami and Miki
Here is what I have done so far, all the silver, save final touch ups, and first coat of metallic pink.
Is enamel so this is gonna take longer than painting the other figures. Their colour scheme as they were the pink editions is Metallic pink and silver highlights. :D
Here are some silver parts and me mixing the enamel for first coat painting.
First coat on, is rather streaky but with more coats it will come right. Have to wait 6 hours between each tho.
Is a darker pink than their original, but I think it is rather nice :)

What type of paint do you use? Oil? Acrylic?
all the paint is acrylic modeling paint, cept the pink I could only find a metallic pink in enamel paint. So it's a bit more annoying to use than the others :P - brands are Tamaya and Hobby Colour :D
Yeah, I wondered why the 6 hours... yeesh.
lols oil would be worse when ever I do an oil paintings its like a week between each layer! will be doing a painting for an auction soon that will be fun (oh not a figure, actual art painting) :P
FYI the idolm@ster jointed figures are Revoltech, not figma. I thought you were modding a figma to make the idolm@sters =/

lol thats okay, nah mod a figma into a new figure is rather complex and beyond my skills :P hehehe
Nah, I don't think so. It might be tricky to make the clothes, but otherwise you could use the archetype:he or archetype:she figmas for the base body, build the clothing around it, then paint the exposed pieces. Other than the clothes, the tricky part would be the face.
This is a project I'd love to attempt, but I have neither the skill nor patience for painting a face that small ><
I have thought about it, but the archetype is hard to find, and I don't have money at mo to buy extra figures!!! but when I do it is a possability :D
mos my action figs and other stuffs get tha mod paint-up - when you come my house and join tha family, prepare to transform!!
lol I may not come to ur house then I don't want to transform :P hehehehehe
