e2046.com??

So i was looking for this resin kit, but realized a lot of these are only sold at figure events and in limited quantities on the manufacturer's websites.

Then I found e2064.com Does anyone know what this company does? Do they remold garage kit figures and sell them?

If s,o how's the quality? Anyone ever order from them? Can you trust them with your pre-order money?

Here's a link to their site

Thanks

and i think they remold actual pvc figures and sell them so you can paint them differently.

So they dont do specific paint jobs, only ones that there is a large asking for

They basically remold garage kits and pvc. I have bought from them before so they are legit if you don't mind the GK not being legit.

e2046 sells remolds and sometimes they sell originals if they get them in stock. They also have a program called, "Gathering" where they sell completed and painted GKs. I've ordered there twice. The first time was for some modeling supplies for gundams. They arrived okay, they used shredded Chinese newspaper as padding but everything was accounted for. It's also where I got my Haruhi Bunny figure from. http://www.figure.fm/post/en/26097/The+Elusive+Haruhi+Bunny+Girl.html

Like Shifty S. said, they sell kits that aren't available anywhere else. That destroys a kit's rarity somewhat, but they seem to only sell completed figs in small, limited batches. When I ordered, Haruhi was the -last- one available. Sure, I could have bought the GK, but I don't have the confidence to paint it as well as this one is done. That, and I'm sure the stockings were a pain.

In the end, it's up to you if you want to pre-order something. I don't know their turnaround rate with pre-orders, and I haven't scoured their policies to see if you can get a refund if you change your mind or get tired of waiting. Everything I bought there was in-stock. Hope this helps, good luck!

I guess it does kinda ruin the rarity of figures, kinda meaning the only way to reserve an actual figures rareness is to keep it in the box. Plus some of e2046s paintjobs look kinda really glossy, which may help with the differentiation.

I've bought from e2046 a few times in the past when I still had the time to make GK's. I've preordered with them once for a Sonico kit and prepaid in advance, it took them a couple days to update my account saying I had already paid for the kit but after that it was a pretty automatic process with getting a shipment notice a couple weeks later.

This is a great and very serious company, but you have to be decided : once you cancel, your future preorders will take you 25% of account to pay first.

E2046 is the main company selling GK :)

My one and only order from them was a finished garage kit that arrived broken. Their response was a to send a jar of touch up paint that took about 5 months to send. After that they promised a small (20%) partial credit that they have never given me.

I gave the figure to a friend with extensive experience building kits and designing his own. He has told me that the kit was a "bad mold" as it has basically collapsed under its own weight.

    I am done with them.

I guess ill avoid the completed kits. And really examine the pose of figures i buy to make sure the legs of the figure can support the rest of the figure. Which part broke on your figure, btw?

The thumb broke off in shipping. After I got her the hair started breaking off whenever I touched it. Finally the legs buckled under the weight (it was a risky pose to begin with).

I've had no problems with e2046. With Gathering kits you have to get EMS shipping or else you will end up with something broken. As for the kits, quality is good. Some kits are better quality than others.

its the best thing ever. you buy a resin casted recast of anything you can possibly find on the site. a pvc figure might be a resin kit if it is popular enough. and if you want to be lazy, sometimes they take the most popular figures and gives you a colored cast! and all you need to do is paint or put the eye stickers on! I got one. it doesnt really have the perfect resin cast, but it is tolerable. I mean removing residue is half the fun of making a resin kit.

No complains about e2046.com from my side.
I trusted them with the money for their pre-painted Bayonetta kit and they didn't disappoint me. Haven't ordered much else (mainly because only the pre-painted stuff is interesting for me), but overall they seem trustworthy to me.
