New game from vanillaware, going to have multiplayer action with four players on screen working together as a team with gameplay in the same style as muramasa & odin sphere. Meaning grinding required to level up your characters abilites & huge bosses to fight, and its all going to be in HD 2D graphics. Going to be released on PS3 and the upcoming PS Vita with remote play (not sure?) with release set in spring 2012, anyone excited or interested?
im pretty interested, but im not really digging the Amazon's design. just my opinion - would still play the game anyway.

IMO this looks like horrendous character design. that really looks like it would take an acquired taste to appreciate. it's as if Hyung tae kim just went insane with the proportions of the human body.
Obviously its a break from the generic anime style character design, even odin sphere and muramasa used body proportions like that, just not to the extent seen here.
It's kinda weird seeing the elf archer with such powerful thighs and yet such stick-like skinny arms, since drawing and firing a bow requires much arm strength.
And that is the most macho dwarf I've ever seen.
The graphics kinda looks lame from that video if it was using the PS3 system. I don't think this will get popular at all... but if that was a PSP then yes, the graphic looks great!
though on a PSP, you have a smaller screen and you probably wouldnt see enough to see the beautiful art. i actually really like this sort of artwork - i just think the Amazon's design is off.
unless they add a whole lot more to the game though, i dont expect this to be at full retail price. if its just a PSN game, then sure. plus, its a beat'em up! 4 players hacking and slashing away. i would pay $30 at the most for this.
Adore Odin Sphere so I know I'm gonna like this <3. But damn the female characters are so distorted body wise! X_X
