2010 Merapi Eruption
Dunno where to put for this one. Shows several figures, boxes, and mangas, but not too focusing on that...
Anyway, on late October 2010, mount Merapi erupts and sending off pyroclastic flows through the winds. It lasts more than a month, giving off some seismic earthquakes, along with volcanic ashes blown around the place.

Forgot when was this taken, but the sky was so clear, and the smoke puffs out like that.

So I went out and took it. At that time, we already got our first rain after the volcanic ash downpour. The downpour was happened at night, so it looked like a dead city. Put up some zombies, an it'll be perfect. The morning was even different. It looked more like the stage where you go ghillie in CoD : MW XD

My house is on the very last line of safety. If the danger area is widened, I'll have to evacuate for sure. The ashes is pretty harming for the figures too, so I cleaned up my desk. Don't worry about that lower part, it's always like that in the middle of the semester XD

All clean, except for some local-made mangas and one old trading figure that I don't think she might stand cramped.

The rest of the manga is here, stacked up fittingly XD
And that book seems Portuguese, but I'm Indonesian, pure Javanese :D

And here's where the figures are. The door to this part is pretty much broken that it wont close perfectly. But for this, I want to protect them the best that I could, so I close it off as tightly as it could. I even planned to put some ice over there, but no XD

In the end, the warnings and stuff was lifted off on December, and then nothing is lost, and I'm too lazy to take out my other figures :p
Though yes, lots of families and people lost their members and lives because of this incident. The mountain keeper was also killed by the mountain that he is supposed to protect.

And this is how the ash looks like now. That red on the top right is my rooftops, with the edges being rugged off with the ashes. That paperlike thing is the ash that hardened and mixed into one by water. Volcanic ash is like rocks grind into dust. Even if you feel it's like silky, it WILL ruin anything like sandpapers.

Dang, natures mushroom cloud, good luck!
Well, it's done already, so it's all fine here XD
wogh ketemu orang indo^^, btw bukannya merapi ud lama meletusnya bro?
Makanya kutulis 2010 kan? XD
Indo kayanya banyak, saya dah lumayan lama disini, tapi sempet hiatus setaun :p
It's a good thing that you and your figures are fine, we here in Jakarta were pretty much spooked out too, hope it doesn't happen again~!
Sadly Dieng was acting up in the past few days. It doesn't seem to be that big, that the news didn't put up a continuous news.
Really? I hope you and your family are okay O.O
