Toyota did it again

As most of you know, Toyota US division went all otaku with the new Toyota corolla. Well they just keep on going and have recently released a video of people dancing to Hatsune Miku on the street.

Marketing, why you no make sense!
If it made sense, we'd all be rich bast*rds knowing where to invest out money :p
I only wonder what's going to happen to miku hatsune next.
...where was that...?
Wait, figured it out... only in NYC. :)
this is a really bad way to market miku to the american public, if i were them id make a bigger deal about the english vocaloid software then use her to advertise a car.
Yes this is quite the mediocre way...
I don't think they're trying to market miku to the American public...if that's the case I was looking at the advertisement wrong.
I thought they were advertising their car via miku.
thats true, i guess i should say introduce rather than market.
This looks like some homemade video, is this real?
It's the "homemade" style commercial
The Prostitution of Hatsune Miku.
There's something that makes me hate this. :(
why is it that everyone hates it when it's done in the states, and laughs when it's done in Japan? Only one thing to say - Balls.
That's not the dance to my wifes song. What the hell are they doing to her. :(
oh, is that the reason why people are pissed off
lol (like I know anything about her)
Good effort! Now they need some necessary improvements, like purchasing leeks, green twin-tailed wigs, and Toyota car itasha :P. Team up with flash mobs and you're set!
people needs to practice more... not sync
Yeah! Guy on right was jumping like 2 seconds before everybody!
That was the worst break dance routine I have ever seen in my entire life!!!! This is not a great way to spread Miku into the US. Watch, I bet they're gonna do something during AX and will just ruin her image DX
except of the song, i dont see any connection =.=
Fail marketing.... No reliance in promoting the car... In addition, the American market can not really connect with miku because of culture difference. It is great that they are promoting anime and miku to america but this marketing is not effective.
The most ridiculous flash mob yet.
