For WF only stuff? I'd say that's a good compromise ^^;
If their Support Japan campaign is any indication. I bet it's just a flat 2000 yen shipping fee. So if you plan on buying more than one or join a group buy you'll save on the shipping.
I know I for one am jumping on this for Kyuubey and my other friends on Roger and Aegis so we're gonna be splitting the shipping cost between us.

Shipment charges too much for me. If I only order 1 item, the price will not be different from using proxy services.
Need to order more items one time or share the order with others to reduce shipment cost per item. But that is technically quite difficult.
Damn no more getting a friend to buy and send multiple to me so I can profit from it *cough*.
Oh wait I dont do that .....
Suppose it will bypass my friend ordering it for me but iirc gsc shipping cost is much higher than normal
that and they charge full retail price for everything, unlike most retailers who get a discount for buying multiple, but all in all this is good news
