Well Hello, Sailor!

Hail and well met, DCers.

Well, I'm temporarily back on the DC, and oh dear creamcake it's changed almost beyond recognition.
Anyway, I'm Burford (for those who dont know/remember me) and this is my first post in..... damn, far too long. Sadly, I have no stories to report, only dropping a 'hello' to Danny and the members of dannychoo.com.

      I'm afraid not. I started my basic training pretty much after I left DC, then found out I needed knee surgery... that took 10 weeks to recover, and have been awaiting my re-start date ever since (with no internets T_T)
      Still, 21st March and I start basic training all over again *sigh*

          It was the culmination of an ongoing joint problem. in short knee ground a new path in my femur and they had to re-anchor the ligaments to put it back in alignment. Hurt alot.

            Ohh... sounds bad. I hope you get well soon. However it sounds like you have to be careful with your knee for years to come.

            How much a strain is it on the knees to go sailing?
