A New Daughter!

WooHoo! I'm so excited! I just won my first YJA! I now have a new daughter; Yoko! WooHoo!
Sorry. I'm a bit giddy. I've wanted her ever since I first saw her. But, she was waaaaay over priced everywhere I looked. Until now! All I need is a DDdy body and she'll be complete. And, that's the easy part. Volks is only an hour from me.
Can't wait to put her all together.

Both my other girls are DDdy already. So, I have clothing for her. Plus, Yoko is originally an even bigger (if you know what I mean) DDdy to begin with. So, I just felt that she would want to be put back to as close to her original form as possible (giggles). :D

That's why I can tell you about how fun she is ! There is so many hair style she can wear and she looks good in almost everything ...if I had only one DD , she would be the one I would choose. But I'm so glad I have more than one !! Congratulations again my friend !

Thank you. :D Yeah, the auction was only for the head and eyes. That's ok, though. Volks is only an hour from me and I'll get her a DDdy body to replace her original body. :D Plus, adding up the costs put her very close to the original Volks cost. Nowhere near the US$3000 on e(vil)bay!!!

awesome congrats!! is there anyway you could let me know what you search to find the heads only? as i literally bought two DD bodies yesterday and i am now looking for the heads of two image characters i like to buy for them :) i'd be very grateful!

I was actually searching for Yoko as a complete DD. But, when scrolling, I found her head and eyes for sale. There was a complete Yoko as well, but very expensive. I find google translate does not do as good a job at translating these specific items. So, I find them at Mandarake and then use their descriptions in google translate to find the bits I'm looking for. Then plug those Japanese bits into YJA. I think there are also categories on YJA for doll parts as well. But, I've only looked at them very casually and do not know them well enough to recommend anything to you about them. Just try clicking them after the original search. You might get lucky.
ebay has heads sometimes, too. Just search for "dollfie". It'll give you lots of hits.

I used Goody Japan. They were the only one who responded to my request. Fast efficient and great communications. Easy to use, too. Highly recommended.
