iPhone app: Higashi no Eden becomes reality

I dunno if this has been posted but it's too cool to not post it :D
Released recently, Sekai Camera is an iPhone application where you can put tags on real world footage, utilizing the camera and GPS system. That’s Google Earth/Wikimapia on a whole new level. Been downloaded 100,000 times already, and counting.

It’s getting closer to that cool tech you see in Higashi no Eden. Maybe Micchon programmed it.













Hehe, yah those augmented reality Apps are cool. You might want to add that this App is currently only available in Japan with an international version coming later.

I guess it works only on the 3GS, right?

Recently I've been seeing a lot more about augmented reality. I really want this but I've no iphone... yet.
