Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Thoughts and Opinions)

Wow, it been a while since I've posted something isn't it? Anyway now that I'm back (for now) and just finished watching Dark of the Moon/DOTM, I might as well share a bit of my thought about this movie, while trying not to spoil you guys.
1. No more sexual innuendos (well, just a teeny-tiny bit), and the humors and gags have been reduced quite extensively compared to ROTF.
2. Plots are a bit lame, but not as bad as ROTF. It does have a nice plot twist though; Meg ain't the big mastermind.
3. A REAL human villain, though that guy is nothing more than a Decepticon's biatch.
4. More chaotic than the previous 2 movies, and not in a bad way.
5. Shockwave and his pet Graboid is a BAMF.
6. "Why do Decepticons always get the good shiat?"
7. New Autobots/Decepticons, even less screen-time.
8. The way they've written off Mikaela in the movie are really lame. Could have done a lot better. That said, the new girl, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is way hotter than Megan Fox, and a better actress too for a newbie.
9. Optimus' trailer aren't just to make him look even more bada$$, it even does more, besides flying.
10. Speaking of Optimus, he's a TOTAL aggressor at the final battle.
11. Human teen vs. a 3-storey tall Decepticon? Teen: 1, Decepticon: 0.
12. Laserbeak is quite a versatile Decepticon in this movie. He transformed into a LOT of things, even a child-size, Autobot in a different color scheme.
Well, that's all that I could share with you guys, what do you think of this movie? Let us know.

just wondering, was there any hint for a 4th installment for the movie? i heard from people saying this is the last one =(
Nope. Not even one.
The movie was alright. I mean, one watch Transformers because one love to see robots fighting, right? Well, this movie was like 80% action all the time, so my mind is pleased. 8)
Kind of liked how they were able to turn the "real life" events (Chernobyl, deaths of astronauts, etc) into a collaboration that would affect the story.
Yeah, I think it was awesome the way they've incorporated the "real life" event as a part of the story-line, thought I think X-Men: First Class did it better
envy envy envy envy envy envy envy envy envy and envy
my place indonesia didn't show Transformers 3
i wanna watch it with 3D quality and now, will just a dream because .....better not to talk it here :3
Fail with Mikaela - Plus Megan Fox is waay hotter & a better actor than the.. Victoria-Secret-Big-Over-Lip-Model was?
The ending was reaaaally long =_= Oh dear God I never throught that it would end
But over all it was a good movie :)
& don't waste your money on watching it in 3D - The only 3D was the subtitles in my part
Awww.. I was hoping this would finally be my chance to see a movie with good 3D effects, since I missed Avatar (and Tron in 3D was like being repeatedly punched in the eye with a glowstick). Blah on Megan Fox - she was hot in the first Transformers, but lately she's looking more & more like a plastic robot. Good riddance.
So did they fix the problem with most of the action scenes in the first movie? ie: where it looks like the camera is just zoomed-in on a random collection of car parts rotating in clothes dryer? (I boycotted TF2, because it sounded completely and utterly retarded).
I was getting kinda car sick in the ending with the 3D, because everything moved so fast & there happening so much at the same time - Humans - Robots - Humans - Robots - Humans - Robots & so on
an 4 hours next ..recient view .... i hope the best of all...
You just think Mikaela is hotter because she acted more like a show window hooker in amsterdam. they look very similar with the most striking feature being their enormous lips! Which are deemed "sexy". Pull your head out of your hormones and think a little. I must say her acting was very good. I did not believe it was her first movie!
^THIS i thought i was the only one who noticed how eerily similar the two were.
I know, it's disgusting how stupid they think people are. Maybe we are, if it was a different actress it wouldn't have been appealing anymore. Plot comes second if there's some actor or actress that is sexually appealing. Look at those twilight movies as an example.
Well, after watching "Jennifer's Body", I've never look at Megan Fox the same way again.
One of my favorite moments from the movie was the beginning. Where they finally covered the war in cybertron. Albeit, short but finally at least they touched on it instead of just talking about it.
Yah. OP got a bit aggressive at the near end of the show. Meg's asked for a truce but OP charged at him. I kinda pity Megs.... He's not on the condition to fight... And seeing him at his dessert camp site makes me want to pity him more... He's like a bum..
I'm still disappointed that even after post-cinema release, there still isn't the tiniest sign of Arcee... Oh well, I guess I still have to see this movie for myself. It's technically a necessity.
didn't Arcee die in Revenge of the Fallen?
So is it worth watching it in 3D? If it is, do the 3D glasses they provide fit well for people who wear glasses?
envy envy envy. i want to watch!!
SPOILER! Don't read this wall of text if you haven't seen the movie. SPOILER!
When the movie actually got started, the first scene in present time was - bare legs, bum and pantys (both back and front). Low angle shots. Pure focus on her lower half. hahaha.. *cough*
The plot is diregarding the first movie plot in some ways, Megatron was to get the Allspark, his main goal. Now its a meetup point and to enslave humanity? I could've sworn he landed before there were even people! It was also said that in the second movie, they barely have any more Decepticons, Starscream even said that the new borns were dying. In this movie, they're everywhere. So why did Decepticons lose in the second movie when they had this much of a army.
Enough with plots, drives me mad. XD
It's a shame it was focused on more of humans rather than the transformers. I swear there were more screen time for them Transformers in the first and second movie. It would be nice to remove some screen time from humans and focus on new additions to Autobots. I didn't feel a thing when one new guy die. No background or character development there. All the new characters barely said a thing. I saw Barricade, where has he been? Did he leave for the next movie again? lol
There were a lot of things left unexplained from the previous movie. What happened to Mojo? What happened to this and that...
When they do those comedy acts (a lot), its like the characters don't know how deep the situation is. Some comedy scenes were stupid, some did make me laugh. Some were annoying. A character's death was funny to everyone in the theatre, and it wasn't suppose to be... It was the way it got filmed, Bay tried to make it funny. ¬_¬;
Resused scenes from The Island put me slightly off. I thought it was real cheap. I'm sure you can find it on Youtube...
I really liked the special effects and CGIs. I thought it was awesome. One scene, when Megatron transform the first time felt popped out though.
In short, this film treated itself as a standalone piece with minimal relations to the prior movies. I say, watch it if you want to, don't get your hopes up. I don't hate it, I enjoyed it.
