Miyuki goes outside
After 3 years, a flower I planted finally decided to bloom! So when I saw the color it had, I knew I had to take Miyuki out to photograph with it.
Here is Miyuki in the front flowerbed. There are some yellow lantana still blooming too.
Miyuki is wearing the Sakura Everyday Wear set from Volks.
I think she's really pretty in this outfit.
Here is a closeup of the flower. It's a day lily. And that name is literal! The next morning after I took these pics, it had already closed back up and by that afternoon it had fallen off. Beauty is fleeting....
"Papa! It looks like my hair!"
The dogs next door are barking at me again. Miyuki wants to know why.
"Those dogs should hush! We aren't bugging them!"

She looks so nice outside....
It was very cloudy outside but still warm.
Miyuki decides to sit down for a bit.
"Are you having fun taking pics Papa?"
Yes I am Miyuki, thanks for being such a good model!
"Come sit next to me Papa."
After relaxing out front for a bit, we decided to go into the back yard. Miyuki grabbed her hat this time to keep the random sun rays off her.
I got the hat from Micheals craft store for $1.50
I hot glued the flower ribbon to the hat at a sewing meet I had a few weeks ago.
"Papa, it's getting cooler now. Maybe it will rain?"
She is scanning the clouds to see if any are dark enuff to make rain.
And now the hat comes off.
And now the hats back on! Silly girl!
"Hee hee! I'm allowed to do what I want!"
I think this is my favorite picture of the day. She looks like shes dancing.
Now she's being silly again. I think she's hiding in the leaves and she's flipped up her hats brim.
"I like these leaves.... they're really soft."
"Don't you agree?"
Yes Miyuki, they're soft alright.
"The wind is picking up! My hat is wanting to fly away!"
"Do you think it's gonna rain Papa?"
"Those clouds over there look dark. Let's go inside and have a drink!"

Well, it's been SUPER hot here so I think that had a lot to do with it. It opened one morning, I took pics that afternoon, it was closed the next morning and when I got home from work, it had fallen off the plant. but I still have 2 blooms left on it that havent opened yet. =3
The other girls were too busy watching TV and playing games to notice. Plus they all hate the heat. XD
Nice photos and a very pretty flower. You did a good job adding some spice to the hat.
The next time she flips the brim up though I think she needs a hay or grass seed to suck on to complete the look. XD

Cloudy skies really are great for getting outdoor shots, as this batch of photos clearly shows. :) Makes me wish that the weather out here would stop teasing us like it's done all day and just freakin' rain already!
Also, that hat is ADORABLE. Might need to pick up something similar for Agatha at some point!

And thanks on the hat! I got it form Micheals for $1.50 so they're cheap if you can find them. I think Agatha would appreciate a way to keep the sun off her while doing experiments outdoors. XD

Oooh, gotcha. Yeah, I think I might try to get one or something like it; she could use a casual hat for nature observations, rather than that giant feathery thing that came with her green dress. (It's good for impressing people, but is a bit hazardous when surrounded by brambles.)
Ha ha, very nice. ^_^ I doubt she'd want that fancy hat on either while out and about.
