On this week's issue, we have Sony's latest & most expensive portable unit released along with it's also so expensive content, Capcom confirms Super Street Fighter IV, Typemoon retuns by twisting the events in one of their famous Visual Novels & Wii Update alert.This is Lelouch and this is Digital Gaming News.
Typemoon has once again resurrected their beloved title, Fate Stay Night and is renamed "Fate/Extra". The game takes a bit of "PERSONA" game aspect wherein the players can go around and have a better feel of the environment. Although this time around, Emiya Shirou may not make an appearance and yet Saber, Lancer and Rin have been confirmed for this title. In a certain extent, the game somewhat was able to call the attention of the fans once again by having Saber don a new costume which led to a major nose bleed while some raged about the fact that saber is blatantly displaying what's behind door no.1. With the upcoming release of the movie and this to follow. I don't know what will Typemoon come up next since this title has been extracted up to the bone already.
The general populace of Nintendo's console, Nintendo Wii should hold back from updating their firmware for the time being. Apparently, the newest update for the said console ends up as not a saving grace but rather the other way around. Users who have already updated to ver.4.2 have incurred problems such as System Errors and failure to start to name a few. In response to the accumulating complaints, Nintendo tech Jane made a statement in the Wii forums as follows.
"Some of you have reported problems with your Wii console after updating to the Wii System Menu 4.2. The symptoms most people are describing usually occur when the Wii has been modified. However, some of you also mention your system has never been modified.
We'd like to help get your system working properly again. If you're experiencing problems with your Wii console after downloading Wii System Menu 4.2, and you believe your system has not been modified, please give us a call. If we find that you have a normal system and the update caused your system to not work, we'll repair it at no charge.
Please call our Customer Service Department at your earliest convenience, 1-800-255-3700. We are open 6 AM to 7 PM, Pacific Time, 7 days a week."
Entirely, this update is really annoying especially if this reaches the era of the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom release.
During the week, Sony finally unleashes their smallest portable gaming unit, the PSPgo. Along with the release of the said portable is the release of over a hundred game titles under the PSP Minis which are small games developed for those who are to purchase the PSPgo. As reluctant as many of the PSPgo owners upon it's release, the Minis turned out to be a mini but not a mini for the pocket. The cheapest selling price of a MINI title costs $4.99 reaching up to $9.99. Tetris on the other hand costs $10.00 and compared to the iPhone version which is relatively cheap. While PSP Minis is a good idea for another "pass time game" but it would be more awesome if the price could be at the very least "REASONABLE". Still we got to hand it to Sony to at the very least give us 100 items to look at and scratch our heads only to say "Is it worth the buy".
"Super" Street Fighter IV
So Capcom's Street Fighter IV was able to receive a huge amount of thumbs up from the gamers and thus Capcom announces SUPER Street Fighter IV. SSF IV, for short will come with new playable characters such as DeeJay, Juri and T.Hawk. SSF IV is scheduled for release come the Spring of 2010 but nevertheless Capcom.... What the hell! The smell of SSF IV Turbo and other replica yet extended title is in the air.

According to IGN SSF4 will be in Full disc & aside from 8 new characters there will be a new op & Ed for each character ,New ultra combos , & new tournament system..I cant wait to get my hands on that AWSOME game

Gonna go for Fate/Extra and PSP2000, dunno whether to get PSP Go or not..
I decided to buy a PSP just to play Fate/Extra when it's released (as well as Armored Core 3, of course), yet one thing still bugs me...
WHY IS SABER'S CHEST SO BIG. Caps required.

Yeah... Despite a few name corrections here and there (i.e. "Type-Moon" and "Fate/stay night"), I am not shocked by her new outfit. Simply because of the fact that it is mild compared to the scenes shown in the original visual novel. Let's just say it was an eroge first and move on. (^_^;;
As for the PSP Go price, that price was expected. And the only way they can lower it is if they find a less expensive way to make it, or they sell enough that it just becomes pure profit at almost any price. Besides, I expect to see a PSP Go 2 include a microphone, bigger HD and full controller capabilities in the future.
And as for saying that the "miniS" prices are not affordable, I can only recommend you look at other networks that sell games that you can only purchase before downloading. You will find that $4.99 is pretty much the standard price for iPod games. But since you are getting more than what the iPod can offer, Tetris (at $9.99) on the PSP has more to offer than Tetris ($4.99) has on the iPod. And the rest are at $4.99 at this time.
Then again... For those who have time and space can just buy Final Fantasy VII for $9.99 (but would need space for 1.32 GB). And those who have money can also skip those and buy Fate/unlimited codes (PSN exclusive in the U.S.) for $29.99. So compared to the alternative, you are definitely getting more at their set prices.
And now... If they will bother putting out Ehrgeiz out in the U.S. PSN (it's a 3-D fighting game that includes Final Fantasy VII characters)... I'd be happy. (^_^;;
