Customs holding my figure?

I ordered my Nendo Stocking a couple of weeks ago and just checked the tracking number which says its in Retention in New York. Is this customs holding my stuff? Never happened before so I'm worried as I just put in an order for Ritsu Nendo today. Please advise. Thanks
UPDATE: Found out it was at the local post office. Got it and will post info.
yeah thats customs "retention", i thought u dont have to pay customs in the US unless its very expensive order - talking about $500+. dont understand why they would hold onto a small package like 1 nendoriods unless they suspect its radioactive - the package is glowing green.
I've had this happen to me before with a package being held in customs for a while, though I'm from Australia so it might be different from where your from. You could always try emailing the Post Company and ask them nicely for an update providing your tracking ID.
Retention? Is that all you ordered. Item's often get held if there are chemicals, illegal stuffs,pornographic materials and stuff. @_@.. Why a fig... Hmm.,, Where did u order it?
They might have mistaken it for an adult stuff. XD. The parcel might be declared as. Panty, and stocking with garterbelt: Nendoroid Stocking. And they dont have any idea of what a nendoroid is. XD

Don't I wish unless 40's really is the new 20's. LOL
There are no customs or tax applied to hobby or toys or figures imported to the "USA" unless they did catogarize it as underwear lol that would be funny though.
