Loot from NYC Trip
I just got back from my trip to NYC to visit a friend and just to take a break.
Aside from all the... Unique things i saw from my time there i did find my way to a few nice places like, Forbidden Plant, and the Nintendo World Store, where i did pick up a few cool things. But sadly my Araragi didn't make the trip home in very good shape. ><;;
All in all it was a fun trip and great time. Wish i had more time to learn the subways cuz walking from Fort Lee to Union Square sucked... lol

a must have for any python fan
So the funny thing is, i got that for a co-worker who never seen it. And when i gave it to him, everyone just thought it was a great gift since we make fun of him not seeing it.
love this shirt!!!!
Yes this shirt is awesome, and now i wish i got a few more. But since my friend still lives out there, i might ask him to get me a few more and mail them to me. ^0^
This was from carry on damage...
My New Yorker hat!! This helped me blend in... lol
Seems like you had a pretty good time. I remember my first trip. first day, I walked from union square all the way past chinatown looking for the victoria shopping center. so rough. Going back in Oct. I should make a pitstop at the nentendo store as well.
I'll say this, GPS is your friend! lol
What are these?
There a pair of sake cups i found in a shop by Mitsuwa in Fort Lee NJ
Correction, it's Edgewater NJ.
Did you by any chance go to Book Off in NYC? I am going there end of this month and was wondering if there's anything super cool there ^_^/
Thx
I didn't sadly, sry i couldn't be of help. I kinda wish i knew about that too XD
Nice loot! I'm going to head up to NYC myself in the next week. Any shops that sell figures you recommend me to go to?
I was only able to get to one, it's called Forbidden Plant. And it's address is, 840 Broadway New York, NY, 10003. If you have a smart phone with Google GPS, just put that into the search and you can find it. At least that's how i did.
Is the selection/Are the prices there good? Their website isn't very informative in regards to anime merchandise. ^^;
There is some anime related things there with a fair price for the most part,(keep in mind things in NYC are higher priced anyways) and they have an upstairs full of manga and anime. But i've seen better selections when i was in LA, but still a good place.
There is another place in Flushing, but i don't know it's address nor could i get there. But i'm told it's more like a... questionable place that sells anime goods. I couldn't tell you the details since i couldn't make it out there.
Ok thank you!
