ConnectiCon 2011 loot
***Check my little notes below all the pictures! :3**
So I went to ConnectiCon this year all three days again with some friends, I gotta tell you it was such an awesome experience, better than the last years I'm sure. Anyway, I pretty much dropped $250 the first day on figures. I went to the dealer's room to buy figures, and that's basically what I did the whole first day. I bought a few non figure things, I'm gonna post them on here anyways because they're just fun stuff. I found a few awesome deals and figures I've been looking for, I'll talk about them all as I go. It's a medium sized loot because at the time I was saving up for this con I didn't have a job and I'm still young, so I can't afford to spent a lot-a lot of money at conventions yet, but I still think I managed to get off rather nicely and add some awesome additions to my figure collection :)

So this is a taste of what I'll be talking about when it comes to my ConnectiCon loot

This was the 2011 ConnectiCon program book. I must have grabbed five of these over the course of the weekend because it had the schedule in it haha

My loot, pretty good for a years worth of scraped up change..

With the non-figure stuff

Oh I cut Date out of this shot, whoops

I usually get figures that are strange and have non human attributes or are rarer in style for figures, but I was craving a figure that was a little more I don't want to say normal, but you get what I mean. Sasami fit it perfectly, and I got her for a steal. I just wish her base didn't look like a giant yellow cookie, I might cover it with something black.

Mion was the last figure I got on the last day of the con, I was able to haggle her to $15 which is incredible. I really like her, this is in box obviously. Come to think of if I should have probably gotten Rena too because I'm sure the guy would have given me both for $30 and I like to have sets and they're rare and expensive online but 1.I had absolutely no money left and 2. She's kinda boring looking compared to Mion

I got both Sanada and Date figures. I'm a sucker for male figures and these made me very happy. Sengoku Basara's style intrigues me ^^

The DC Ami Comi series has some pretty good figures. I got the poison ivy one a while ago, and the next one I wanted was Cheeah, so when I found her at the con I got her right away, I even got a discount :)

There's a little wonder with this Miku because it might be a counterfit, I got it at a very good price, but regardless it is made very well and the paint and quality is good. I like to think that it is authentic so do me a favor and even if you think this is a bootleg, do me a favor and keep it to yourself. She is very nicely made and I like to think that she's the real deal.

Sanada is so nicely made, his pose is cool, I like his weapons...hnnn :)

Date is amazing, I love him, let's leave it at that.

I'll have to figure out a cool action setting for these two, they're obviously made for it
OH IN THE BACKGROUND I GOT FREE TISSUES...YAY

This Mion figure is incredible, on top of that, getting her for $15 made me really love her

I love everything about Sasami, this figure kind of defines anime figures in my mind, don't ask me why. I just wish it didn't look like she was standing on a sugar cookie because that yellow color doesn't go with anything else on her.

I Always liked Cheetah and this version is awesome too. I was going to wait for the variant to release, but looking at the price of that one and comparing it to this one, also this one has more vibrant color, I decided to get her. I don't usually see her in stock where other people have DC Ami Comi figures in stock. Well, Connecticut barely anyone has figures in stock anyways. I've always wanted her, and now I shall put her next to my Poison Ivy Ami Comi

My motto on the last day of the con (Sunday) was I want to get little stuff. And so I did.. All of these were small purchases except for the girl with the blue hair who was a little more pricey. I accidentally broke of the purple girl's leg, but I glued it on later that day. I don't know who any of the characters are except for the one coin Italy, if anyone knows, tell me and I'd love you.

Don't know who he is but he's 1. A little thing (so it fit my sunday motto) 2. A boy 3. Inexpensive and 4. he has cool hair. Can anyone tell me who he is?

She was actually a step down from this other one I was going to get, but it was priced at $30, and I wasn't going to spend that on a smaller figure. I still really like this one, again I don't know who she is, if anyone could tell me I'd appreciate it.

This is just a little tiny trading figure I thought was cute. The amount of pieces that you can pull her apart to is RIDICULOUS. I broke off her leg trying to put her together at the con, but when I got home I glued her and she's fine now. For the pic I taped her hair to Miku's box and balanced her on her broken leg, clever eh? =^^=

Usually I don't get one coins, but I couldn't resist the cute and the price haha. Italy is my favorite Hetalia character

Scratch what I said before that I had no more money after Mion becayse *drumroll* DAH DAH DAHDAHHHHH I got a Star Trek Next Generation Captian Picard yo-yo with my left over change. I paid the guy in nickles and dimes.. I could not resist...bahaha.

My cosplay on the first day was Kaltz from Lamento, and my friends had me try these on and it matched my wig perfectly, even though he doesn't have cat ears, I had to get these. :3

I got dreadfalls THAT LIGHT UP (oh yeahh) and a mask too because there were raves both friday and saturday night, and might I add, I looked pretty bangin' with the outfits I put together for both nights ;)

You got quite a bit there! BTW, the one in the swim suit that you weren't sure who she is, I'm pretty sure thats KOS-MOS from Xenosaga. ^^ I could be wrong though, but I think I'm right.
I think your right about KOS-MOS :3 I though the same thing. Very nice loot buddy ^D^
Yes that was my best guess too, and now thinking of the other ones that she was displayed with, it was her, thanks!
A decent haul, but the Miku and Italy are definitely bootlegs. The quality of the paint job gives them away immediately.
Alright...thanks for reading the part where I said don't tell me if it's a bootleg -_-. Regardless, she's made well, and I like her and she wasn't a bad price, I'm not even going to contact the seller. I don't mind that the italy is a bootleg, it was like $1 and it's cute.
Also..the camera actually added more marks than she actually has. So the picture doesn't do her justice, still happy I got a Miku figure anyways
Kos Mos from Xenosaga
Yup! Thanks :)
A very sexy Kos-Mos
;]
Epic!!!!
I KNOW RIGHTTTT. I bought it with nickles hahaha
why did you black out the price?
haha honestly I dunno, maybe it's just that I don't want to get told that I paid way too much for something. She was $50 but I got a 10% discount
