Watched Letter Bee~~

Imaginebreaker here!!~~ lol... Today i watched Letter Bee, new anime this season, and it was quite weird in the beginning but the animation is good~~
(SPOILER!!LOL)The story start of with a young man called Gauche, a Letter Bee whose job is the deliever mail, was on a job to deliever a mail... and found out that his job is to 'deliever' a boy named Lag Seeing(this really is the boy name~)whose mother been taken away by some unknown soldier or something, to some faraway place... then after a few scene that i don't bother to type(lazy..), Gauche and his dog, Roda(i think?) fights a creature call Gaichu, the fighting animation was cool and i like how they fight... well i too lazy to continue... hope you enjoy my short preview!!
Err.... I lack any information, which could tell me if I want to watch it or not. For instance is it a dark cold blooded fighting series or a lighthearted humour or something else?
At least tell us if you even enjoyed watching this ^_^
Basically what I get is that it's some postman, who one day gets a boy who needs to be delivered and then the postman and his dog fights a creature... basically it could be both awesome or total waste of time or anything in between based on that description :P
I've been reading tegami bachi and it's somewhat different from most mangas. Haven't seen the anime adaption but the story revolves around a young child named lag seeing. He is the boy that Gauche Suede is supposed to deliver. Anyways the child refuses to be sent but is dragged along to the point of destination. On the way there they are attacked by creatures that eat "hearts" or the essence of it anyways because they lack the heart themselves. These creatures are called Gaijuu...(not sure on spelling). Gauche and his dingo wards off the gaijuu with a shindan; a gun that releases energy bullets utilizing "heart." The info is getting long, there isn't a anime or manga that i have read that is similar but the closest thing it falls under is steam punk and post apocolyptic? I don't know. I really like it.
