A Gentle Introduction
I decided it was finally time to let Steffi meet one of the other girls. I chose Hannah as I figured she would be a safe start for Steffi and that Hannah would likely provide the least biased introduction to the rest of the girls.
Sakura: "So you see Saber, that intervention was for your own good because we care about you."
Saber: "Hmmph!"
scripple *from the other room*: "Hey Hannah, would you come here for a moment?"
Hannah: "Ok scripple, coming!"
Rin: "Wait, why is he calling for you instead of me?"
Hannah: "I don't know Rin, it's probably something beneath you."
Rin: "Oh, that makes sense. Carry on."
Hannah: "Hi scripple, you called?"
scripple: "Yeah, I need you to do me a favor. Would you please go put this dress on and meet me at the dinner table?"
Hannah: "You know it's school uniform day right? Rin's going to be mad if I change."
scripple: "I think it will be ok. If she gives you any grief just tell her I made you do it."
Hannah: "Ok, I guess that'll work."
Hannah: "Alright, I've changed like you asked, but are you sure this dress wasn't meant for Sakura or Yukino? I, uhm, don't quite fill it out right."
scripple: "Oh, uh, sorry about that. Yes it was meant for one of them but it looks really cute on you anyway and I really think you're the right person for this occasion. I've set the left handed place setting at the end of the table for you."
Hannah: "Oh thanks."
Hannah: "This occasion wouldn't be the two of us having tea would it scripple? I don't think Rin would appreciate that much. Maybe we should call her over as well."
scripple: "Hahaha, afraid she'll be a little jealous? Don't worry, it's not me you'll be having tea with, but rather the newest member of our household. Stephanie, come in here and meet your new housemate Hannah."
Stephanie: "Hello, my name is Stephanie, but you can call me Steffi. I'm very pleased to meet you."
Hannah: "Oooh. so cute!"
scripple: "Well, I've got things to do, have fun you two."
Hannah: *Runs to hug Stephanie* "Hello Steffi, I'm Hannah. Welcome to our home."
Stephanie: "Thank you."
Hannah: "It's so nice to have more roommates, I hope you enjoy it in your new home. How was your trip?"
Stephanie: "My trip was fine, thank you for asking. I'm very happy to be here and am so glad to finally get to meet you. I arrived a little while ago but scripple said it wasn't a good time to meet the rest of you until now. I hope nothing bad was happening and that everyone was ok."
Hannah: "Oh, well, I guess there was a little disagreement going on between Rin and Yukino, two of the other girls here. But one of the major sources of friction between them has gone away so I'm hoping things will calm down now."
Stephanie: "Oh ok. Well I guess I wouldn't want to get in the middle of anything like that on the first day. How many other girls live here?"
Hannah: "There are four other girls besides the two of us. Rin, Saber, Sakura, and Yukino. Rin, Saber, and Sakura are all famous and they knew each other before they lived here, but Yukino and I are just normal girls and we didn't know any of the other girls before moving in. I was the newest until you showed up. This is a little embarrassing to ask if you are, but are you famous?"
Steffi: "Oh no, I'm not famous either. Do the famous girls get along ok with you and Yukino?"
Hannah: "Well, they all have pretty strong personalities, but Saber and Sakura are pretty down to earth. Rin is pretty proud of her celebrity, and can be a little rough around the edges from time to time. But don't get me wrong, she can be a very sweet girl too. I get along really well with Rin, but she and Yukino are constantly feuding over one thing or another. I'd recommend that you try to get off on the right foot with Rin, maybe play to her vanity a little bit, and I think you'll be fine."
Steffi: "Oh, thanks for the advice. I'd love to meet the rest of them, are they here?"
Hannah: "Oh, they're all in the other room right now. I think scripple wanted you to meet with just me first so you didn't get off on the wrong foot with any of the other girls."
Steffi: "But you said Saber and Sakura were pretty down to earth, so as long as I respect Rin things should be ok right? What about Yukino? What's she like?"
Hannah: "Well, yes, I think what you've said is mostly correct, but I did mention they all have strong personalities. Let's just say that things can get a little interesting around here from time to time, so just be prepared to go with the flow. Yukino is a sweet girl, but a little shy and socially awkward. She might try to get you to take sides with her against Rin, but I'd say just be nice to both of them and try to stay out of that mess. Care for dessert?
Steffi: "Thanks again for the advice, and I'd love some dessert. I think I'll take one of these strawberry cupcakes."
*Saber pounces on the table from out of nowhere*
Steffi: "Eeek!"
Saber: "Mmmm" *chomp* *smack* "I knew" *chomp* "I smelled sugar" *chomp*
Hannah: *Sighs* "Stephanie, meet Saber. And welcome to the scripple household."
it was going so well until saber pounced on the table LOL she likes her food xD.
Yep, Saber loves her sweets. And nothing goes well forever around here. XD
Poor Saber looks so irate! XD
She was pretty upset that they took her sweets away. I think she's feeling a little better now though. :)

I'm a tad bit jealous. Those are the sorts of dresses I've been wanting for Lisandra. I even went out today to get some nice linen and some leather to make her an outfit.
They're both Volks outfits. It's cool that you can make your own (not really in my skill set), but if you ever want to go the ready made route Volks sells these kinds of outfits quite often, typically aimed at their resin dolls.
I love how Hannah is like "Sigh, again?" while poor Steffi is completely freaked out. =3
Yes, Hannah's come a long ways since her first tea party on the blanket, where she got attacked for wearing Rin's PJs. Not much around here phases her anymore. Poor Steffi's not yet accustomed to the ways of the scripple household. XD
Great post! Hannah and Steffi are both so beautiful in those dresses. Very elegant. The entire time I was like, "This is so nice and serene. What's wrong here?" Then Saber pounced. THAT was awesome. Well done sir! XD
Thanks very much. It was nice to do a story with some girls all dressed up having a nice time. But as a dysfunctional dollfie theater post of course the serenity couldn't last the whole time. XD

Thanks about the dresses. As for Steffi, why not? It's a common shortening of Stephanie. I guess I just like Germanic names? No particular meaning behind it to me.

You should hint (without saying) that Steffi is minor royalty or something, that might take a little wind out of Rin's sails for a bit.. She acts like a well mannered countess or something as it is.. ^_-
Hmm, I'm not sure Rin would care that she's royalty. Saber's a king and that doesn't seem to amount to much. If she did accept that Steffi was royalty she'd probably just use it to further rub Yukino's commonness in her face. I'm actually hoping maybe Steffi and Yukino will be friends.

Saber still cracks me up in this photo story... this one I read on the DD forum first, and love it... now I know what the "famous" talk was about... and Steffi is not really being truthful, now is she? Is she hiding her fame for a reason? Has she taken on another name as part of a witness protection program? What is going on here??
