Eclair - helping me get back into the swing of things...

I've been trying recently to get back to my old ways (i.e. I finish work and do things I want, not think about work until the next day - not healthy) and I've been working on some old artwork of mine. I originally drew this image in 2008 whilst I was on holiday in St Davids, Wales, with no references to go off.
It was based off on old image I had done back in 2004 but didn't like how it turned out, so I decided to have another crack at it.
The scan has been sat on my HDD for 3 years until I bought Open Canvas and decided to try my hand at re-drawing a couple of images. First was a humanised Applejack from MLP -FiM and the second one was this one.
I'm still learning how to fully use the tools in OC but I am liking it very much ^_^
Anyhoo, enough waffle from me, I hope you enjoy this little piece of fanart

Great looking piece of art!
I really love the detail on the gun and she is really pleasant on the eyes.
She'd probably fit in well in Cowboy Bebop or something =)
Thanks, guns are one of the few things I'm good at drawing, mostly thanks to my years playing airsoft. Years ago I did this picture of Mikuru from Haruhi in her waitress outfit with an Ak47:

I think I spent more time fussing over the details of the gun than anything else... never did finish the image though, something else to add to the to-do list.
Kiddy Grade is one of my favorite shows of all time, glad people still remember and appreciate it. Nice piece.
Thanks ^^
I think KG is one of the first shows I really started to do a lot of fanart for, with a lot of characters I liked. I still enjoy it today, although I found Kiddy Girl-and to be a let down. We really could've done with another season of the original, as I couldn't watch more than the first 3 episodes.
I have even been lucky enough to meet Monical Rial during one of her visits to the UK and asked her to say some lines as Lumiere, to be precise:-

It was this image I gave to her and she read the lines off like a slightly tipsy Lumiere, it was awesome ^_^
I wholeheartedly agree with you on the fact that Kiddy Girl -and was a massive disappointment. They teased us with that trailer for ages and had my hopes so high. It was nice to see Lumiere and Eclair in KGA though.
I've met with most of the English VA cast for KG and they're all really cool. My original KG boxset (the one with the cards) is signed by Monica Rial, Colleen Clinkenbeard and Laura Bailey. They're all great.
Oooo nice, I envy you ^_^
Monica is a blast and she's become somewhat of a regular to Amecon here, which is cool. We do try to get a few others over, but with the vast majority of the VA work being in the states it can be a bit tricky (and sometimes costly) to get them over, sadly.
